  1. USC, Auburn, Texas and Texas A&M are schools really started to make a push here.
  2. First four games of the 2024 season: http://www.hudl.com/v/2PzTxR
  3. Texas will host 2026 four-star linebacker Anthony Davis Jr. out of Grayson High School in Georgia. Davis is a national top-250 prospect in the 2026 class and currently holds 33 offers so far in his recruitment. The Longhorns got involved officially in this recruitment on July 23 when they offered the talented linebacker. At 6-foot-2-inches and 200 pounds, Davis has a solid frame that is built to add good weight at the next level. Davis is on the same Grayson HS team as 2025 target Joseph Mbatchou, and five-star 2026 LB Tyler Atkinson, among many other high-level division one prospects.
  4. True, but that was a month ago.
  5. Well done, Bobby!
  6. Surely just a slip.. right!?
  7. I was surprised to hear Quinn say that on Saturday. I was told it wasn't an issue, but obviously, I don't know what he actually feels. Sure didn't look to be an issue against Florida.
  8. 2026 Prosper OL Zaden Krempin will be back on campus this weekend.
  9. 2026 Mater Dei LB/EDGE Shaun Scott will visit Texas this weekend. A national top 200 player from California.
  10. A&M will host 2026 ATH Jalen Lott for the Texas-A&M game on November 30.
  11. A&M is one of the top schools at the moment, yes. USC in the mix as well.
  12. Junior tape of Arrington: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/10260042/6701ab35b9797308a54fbfa8
  13. Arrington was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in California for Track and Field in 2024.
  14. 2026 Mount Miguel (Calif.) ATH Brandon Arrington Jr. tells OTF he has been in contact recently with the Texas staff. Arrington is one of the fastest players in the class of 2026, with verified 10.47 speed out on the west coast and is currently ranked inside the top-30 national players per the 247Sports Composite rankings. At 6-foot-2-inches, Arrington has played both wide receiver and cornerback this season and now sits north of 30 offers since his recruitment began. This will be a recruitment to monitor towards the months of January and February as the focus switches over to the next cycle.
  15. Pretty wild really when you put it that way.
  16. Sophomore Hudl: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15480201/6732ba1f917f869274306ea0
  17. Tashard Choice and the Texas Longhorns have extended an offer to 2027 Baylor School (TN) RB David Gabriel Georges. The Longhorns becomes the 20th team to extend an offer to the 6-foot, 190-pound running back out of Tennessee. David Gabriel Georges is originally from Canada, but has become quite the prospect in the 2027 class. Already with multiple game visits to Tennessee this season and another to Ole Miss.
  18. Definitely.
  19. Sarkisian says the team is having a blast right now. The team would not let him take the field for pregame warmups before finishing the lyrics of a song that was playing from the Arkansas PA System.
  20. I asked Steve Sarkisian about the reliance on 12P rather than the jumbo 6-man OL look as we have seen in previous years. Sark said Gunnar Helm's ability to bridge the blocking in the C-gap on the outside has been something that has allowed for Texas to use Juan Davis more and more rather than needing to bring in another 300-pounder to create running lanes. To me it sounded like the jumbo package a year ago was used out of necessity due to cover up a lackluster blocking tight end, whereas Helm is doing the job himself. Also, Sarkisian says adding Davis and Helm on the field rather than jumbo OL + TE adds one more threat for a defense to defend against in the passing game.
  21. Sarkisian says he is "hopeful" to get LB Mo Blackwell and WR DeAndre Moore back this weekend. Moore was dealing with a foot injury after just five snaps on Saturday.
