2025 Lovejoy WR Daylan McCutcheon departs Austin for home after his official visit to Texas. Was hosted by WR DeAndre Moore on the trip. Heads to Florida State next week, the school presumed to be the favorite at the moment. McCutcheon said he had a blast on campus, especially for the Tank Davis boxing match last night with the team.

Texas and USC battle moving forward. Castro said he will compare the two OV’s and make a final decision from there. Texas set a high bar this weekend during his time on campus.

2025 Jasper TE Kiotti Armstrong has shut things down and committed to Texas A&M. The talented tight end was on campus in College Station this weekend and the Aggies did enough to earn his commitment. Armstrong was scheduled to visit Texas for an official visit the week of June 21–23, though that trip remains uncertain at the moment. Texas still has Emaree Winston in the fold, and will host him and Nick Townsend next week for an OV as well.

Next year with tOSU is expected to be a blast.

This is one you would love to see on a weekend official visit. Until that is locked in, it is worth questioning where Texas sits for the talented CB.

I think Gerry nailed it. Playing TE is an acquired taste for anyone who has not grown up playing the position. We saw it take JT Sanders a full season before the staff trusted him at the position and even then he was not 100% bought into the every play duties of living in the trenches. Not saying that will be the case for Terry, he is a great football player. But Townsend is actively in the trenches and doing the tight end dirty work every play already.

Hook ‘Em! Texas has earned a commitment from 2025 Fort Bend Marshall CB Caleb Chester following his official visit to Texas last weekend. The Longhorns led for the 6-foot-1 cornerback coming into the weekend and made a strong enough impression on the visit for Chester to shut things down for good. Chester was slated to officially visit Texas A&M and Arkansas over the next two weekends, so for the Longhorns to get him to shut things down was quite the victory. Chester brings great length and athleticism out wide.There is plenty to like on tape and still room for development for the next level. Of course, the addition of Chester to the 2025 class helps the Longhorns with 2026 DB Isaiah Williams and LB Noriel Dominguez as well. Replacing the scoreboard

Construction has moved quickly on the scoreboard work at DKR. The video board in the south Endzone is gone and the are is now see through. The back fencing used to dawn an orange backdrop with a white Longhorn logo. That is gone too. Eager to see how quickly this gets done.

I don't hate that fit at all. Might as well go to a good franchise over the early draft pick
