  1. I missed that, good catch.
  2. Texas star Jared Thomas goes 42nd to the Rockies. I lean very unlikely you see Thomas return to Texas in 2025.
  3. Texas commit Theo Gillen, out of Austin Westlake HS, goes 18th overall to the Rays.
  4. Texas commit Bryce Rainer is picked 11th overall to the Detroit Tigers. Most likely will not make it to campus.
  5. Florida’s 1B/P Jac Caglianone goes 6th. 75 HR at UF - school record.
  6. UGA 3B Charlie Condon goes 3rd overall to the Rockies. 37 HR in 2024.
  7. The MLB Draft is live! Plenty of important decisions to make in terms of the 2025 Texas roster. Will keep this thread going throughout the next two days as we finally get some ideas of where Texas players and signees get drafted. Decisions to make: Jared Thomas – Drafted No. 42 to Colorado Lebarron Johnson Jr. – Drafted No. 139 to Colorado Jalin Flores Tanner Witt - 2024 Signees: SS Bryce Rainer – Drafted No. 11 to Detroit SS Theo Gillen – Drafted No. 18 to Tampa Bay RHP Levi Sterling – Drafted No. 37 to Pittsburgh RHP Jason Flores RHP Drew Rerick

  9. Wanted to share this. Check out these ratings for the Texas skill players. So many elite speed ratings — though a 93 for Jaydon Blue feels awfully slow.
  10. Thanks for sharing! Good read
  11. Five-star Lewisville OT Michael Fasusi will make his decision August 21 per Hayes Fawcett. Fasusi has a final five of Texas, Oregon, Missouri, Texas A&M and Oklahoma. However, we at OTF believe it is a Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma battle with the decision likely coming down in Red River Shootout fashion.
  12. Yes, baseball.
  13. It isn't him but he is a nice piece.
  14. There remains one additional piece we are waiting to make an announcement. Texas fans will be pleased with this one.
  15. 90 mph is the same across every level. He’d contribute as a freshman
  16. More than a year away to find out. But we will see.
  17. Another tremendous addition to the future of the Texas Baseball program. Jim Schlossnagle and his staff have landed the No. 1 player in the state of Texas — Kayson Cunningham, an infielder out of San Antonio Johnson HS. Cunningham was previously committed to Texas Tech, though reopened his recruitment and made the decision to stay closer to home and pick the Longhorns.
  18. 100%, he’ll be lethal in the short game. Though he still has that take the roof off ability which is awesome
  19. Right around the corner!
  20. I would think the staff is sick of losing out on recruits. And you all know the definition of insanity right?
