    It's interesting looking at this from a map perspective how little attention South Carolina gets in comparison to Georgia, Florida and now North Carolina. Interesting more so in how talent is just absent from the state in comparison to surrounding states, I suppose. South Carolina ranked 17th in NFL Players at the beginning of the 2024 season with 32. Texas had 190, Florida with 176, California with 168, Georgia with 146 and North Carolina with 74. Those are the five highest states with NFL representation in the country.
