  1. Miami also in attendance today at practice for Jalen Lott and Donovan Webb.
  2. Marist and Louisiana Lafayette in attendance as well. Panther Creek has a really talented 2026 TE in Parker Ord who currently holds 8 offers. Oklahoma State, Arizona, BYU amongst the notable.
  3. Georgia is in person at Panther Creek this afternoon.
  4. Pulling up to Panther Creek to see elite 2026 WR Jalen Lott and DB Donovan Webb.
  5. He was awesome today. Hope he is able to build something at EV
  6. That's something I hadn't thought about. Not a bad idea.
  7. I get the argument, but it didn't stop Texas from trotting out Matthew Golden on KOR in 24 or Xavier Worthy on PR in 23.
  8. Can I interest anyone in Parker Livingstone?
  9. I guess all that Texas needs is to field punts from the 20-25 yard line and that's the sweet spot for a return lol
  10. Jonah would be really fun as a punt returnman.
  11. Oddly, the last two punt return touchdowns from Texas have each been from 75 yards out.
  12. The Texas staff answered a lot of questions about the 2025 roster in the spring. Several impactful transfer portal additions were made at key positions – both specialist positions, wide receiver, tight end, line backer, defensive line x5 and even quarterback. With those moves, the Texas roster holds depth at just about every position on the field. But one position remains answerless – the return game. In the spring, there were a few names that popped up immediately on day one: Aaron Butler, Daylan McCutcheon and Ryan Wingo. Though, as the spring continued, more options started to arise. By the end of the 15 practices, OTF had heard the names of Ryan Niblett and Warren Roberson on the defensive side of the ball getting looks. As well as Jaime Ffrench joining the race as well. Of course we need to mention DeAndre Moore who was sidelined in the spring with a toe injury, as well as new Stanford WR transfer Emmett Mosley V. In 2024, only Silas Bolden recorded a return in the punt game, while Matthew Golden held all but one of the kickoff returns, the other going to Bolden as well. I don't think it is beyond having your best WR at the position of returnman if the payoff is worth the risk. Xavier Worthy in 2023 was one of the country's best at fielding punts and though the kickoff return game never quite materialized last fall, Texas never wavered on having Golden back deep. So, with the position seemingly up in the air, call your shot on who you would like to see at both kickoff and punt return in 2025. *** My best guess is this: Kickoff – DeAndre Moore Punt – Ryan Niblett or Emmett Mosley
  13. That’s how I’m viewing things now. A bit telling that Texas hasn’t made the trip out there.
  14. Coach Robertson at East View told me the hope is to use Ejiakowo as a field side linebacker this fall. Putting him in positions to make plays in space and behind the line of scrimmage. Robertson took the job in mid-February and said the first time he saw Ejiakowo in the weight room he was repping 275 eight times on the bench press.
  15. Stopped by Georgetown East View this AM to check on 4-star LB Tieson Ejiakowo. Ejiakowo had successful meniscus surgery on Monday and has been sidelined this spring. I was told Texas has yet to make a trip through East View this spring. Johnny Nansen did stop by in January but so far no visit from anyone on the staff in the spring.
  16. I would expect some news this evening. Not commitment related fwiw
  17. LaAllen Clark has done a fine job of keeping Texas within arms reach here. He deserves a lot of credit in this recruitment. Carlton also spoke very highly of his history of high level EDGE development.
  18. Texas is keeping tabs on DB Jason Bradford, who is currently committed to Oklahoma State. Texas mentioned wanting to see him live in-person one more time at a camp this summer. Though I view it as unlikely at the moment.
  19. Texas EDGE coach LaAllen Clark made the trip to Temple twice in the last seven days with the focus on getting an OV set for EDGE Jamarion Carlton. Right now, a Texas remains a focus for Carlton and I’d put it at likely Texas gets one. All about finding a date that works with his schedule.
  20. Official visits for Baker: May 16 — Florida May 30 — Clemson June 6 — Florida State June 13 — Ohio State June 20 — Texas A&M
  21. Junior Hudl: http://www.hudl.com/v/2QPKc1
  22. Chad Scott has offered a new 2026 running back. Carsyn Baker of Langston Hughes High in Fairborn, Georgia reported an offer this afternoon from the new Longhorn RB coach. Baker, a 6-foot-2-inch RB, claims a 10.61 time in the 100m this year. Baker visited Ohio State April 8th and has received offers in the past week from Texas, Oregon State, and East Carolina.
