  1. The only choice that mattered was when be picked the horns and made Aggy cry. Hookem!!
  2. If Baxter comes back and lights it up, they will all come calling.
  3. I just watched an On3 YouTube class of 2025 final five stars video and I was kind of shocked that Justus Terry was not in their top 32. Elijah Barnes got in and Lance Jackson was now in their top 5, but somehow Justus Terry got left completely out of it after he was pretty much the consensus number two DT all cycle behind Elijah Griffin. I know On3 is in the business of selling pageviews, but seeing about 10 new names come out of nowhere AFTER the classes are final is puzzling and I question the validity of their system if they do this after recruiting is over. Is this a thing for all the services where they just try to sell clicks and views for hot recruits and then change their list to cover their asses down the road? Seems very suspicious to me that they would just drop Justus Terry after hyping him all season, especially with the high praise coming from the coaches during bowl practice. Main reason I subscribed here is that the OTF team keeps it real and doesn’t overpromise and underdeliver. I appreciate the great work @bobbyburton @gerryhamilton rod babers cj vogel and jeff howe now do. As well as everyone else. thanks guys and hookem

  4. With the way the media is, Arch will win the Heisman. He does three things Quinn could not do: Quick release accurate deep ball: ability to throw over the middle due to his height and higher release point: and 3 keep plays alive. He will have better numbers than Cam Ward. Hunter proves that hype wins Heismans. His last name is Manning. The kid has had scrutiny on him since he was a middle schooler. He shows up at Fiji frat parties and doesn’t drink to help his brother out. The kid has seen the blueprint from his grandfather and uncles. Is he the next Joe Burrow? We don’t know but he doesn’t have to be. He just has to not get hurt and not completely flame out. With as turnover prone as Quinn was there is no way Arch will get yanked. You saw him last spring in spring practice light up what we now know was one of the best secondaries in college football. You saw the crazy playmaking when Quinn was hurt. Did he make some dumb decisions? Yes, but he will learn from them. He is legit.
  5. Jerry Jones says he is your huckleberry
  6. The thing I love about college football as opposed to the pros is that we get to have kids—who chose our program—turn into men. These are 18-20 year old kids basically whose minds are still developing yet we expect them to act like grown men with their decision making. Every team is a few injuries or bone headed plays away from a losing season—including us. Unlike the pros, we can get a lot more talent and right now our program is in the running—every year for the best talent. That is what excites me about college football, there is always next year. Who will the next Collin Simmons be? Is Arch finally going to live up to his hype? We are looking at a schedule that we may only have 1 or 2 losses at the end of the year. Georgia will not be as good next year as they were this year. OSU will not be as loaded on defense. Just recall a few years back OSU got beat by TCU. We are one of the best teams in the country and will be as good next year. I think our defense will be better next year than this year. If Arch lives up to expectations we will be in every game all year whether it is a shootout or because our D locked them up. HOOKEM
  7. Almost made sense until this nugget revealed they have no idea of what they speak: “Ethical, professional teams like the Dallas Cowboys”
  8. If the ACC officiating crew is true to form and do not call holding on our o-line, I think we have a shot to get some good runs going. that works both ways unfortunately, so Texas 28-17
  9. What are our chances with Tyler Atkinson?
  10. There have been rumors about him going to the NfL as part of a package with Shadeur for a while now. Whether he started them or the idiot talking heads at ESPN did is anyone’s guess, but they are out there. Listen to the crackhead announcers on the game glazing Shadeur for how tough he is playing in the game and what that means to the Giants. Dion will claim he was a success, blame his terrible OL and try to follow his son. Saying CU is a complete fraud is not being realistic though. They won 9 games. BYU was a good team. the media hype is just out of control.
  11. His team has been hyped because of how bad they were and because he has travis hunter and a few decent players. They are the most penalized team in FBS. He is not a good coach. He is an ok coach. I have to give him some credit for doing what he has done. He knows his Oline sucks and next year will be terrible. If he was smart he would jump to the NFL and follow his sons for a few years. This game has exposed Shadeur though as someone who holds on to the ball and takes sacks for no reason. I think his ego will make him believe he is the reason Colorado is having some success and he will stay. Colorado will be lucky to have 5 wins next year.
  12. Sometimes its easier on iphone to listen to the podcast streaming your car from the podcast app. I get the same Come Se Lucy spanish one over and over and just tap advance 30 seconds twice arrow on the lock screen and it skips it. Its the iphone app that does this. Youtube is better but sometimes locks up when people call.
  13. He seems to have an aversion to tackling.
  14. Guy would have been a luxury. Jonah Williams will make everyone forget about this guy existing.
  15. For one more comparison, and just for some reference, here are Alfred Collins’ production numbers. Common opponents for the two DTs are Florida and Arky. Both DTs put up comparable stats to Collins when facing SEC talent.
  16. David Blay stats from 2024, DT from LA Tech
  17. Jaxson Dart had a deal with a fractional jet owner for a number of hours of private jet use per year. He used it on his teammates reportedly. This would be a sweet deal for families that wanted to watch their kid in Austin but live in Florida or Georgia.
  18. My 3A high school team in the early 90s (Anahuac) had three kids who ran 4.4 to 4.6 in the backfield. Our QB Mikail Ricks went on to play for San Diego and the Cowboys. We routinely had 600 yard combined rushing games. We knew we were going to state until Fairfield and Tony Brackens in the semi finals. Our center weighed maybe 170 pounds. Each play Brackens would smack him to the ground and reach over and grab Ricks or the RB before they could handle the ball or hand it off. Had multiple linemen in tears. That was the first time I saw a for real NFL ready player playing against kids. Was a sad ride home from Huntsville.
  19. Glad this kid Hayes King transferred from Aggie to GT. Kid looks legit.
