    I wonder what Wilt Chamberlain would be like in today’s game. I think he may be the closest comp to Wemby ever, but be was shorter, and much stronger.

    Nick Brooks being a freshman. teams are going to exploit the center guard inexperience if we dont get help from TEs and RBs. That to me is where 90% of the OL problems are and why Arch doesn’t seem to trust his pocket even when it is clean.

    I dont want to be one of those guys who attacks other members posts, but I wholeheartedly disagree. Our defense is far better equipped to deal with Vandy than LSUs. Whitt Weeks was hurt and really I don’t think they have the discipline and cohesive approach we do. LSU has been overhyped all year and our defense has been overshadowed by Arch’a struggles. I think we can beat anyone if we continue to play to the level we played last week and minimize penalties.

    My son got an icy white collin simmons jersey #11 at the coop the day before simmons announced it was changjng to #1. 🤷They did a good job on it. They will customize all kinds of stuff there.

    I wonder how Terry feels about being shifted to RB when we recruited him at WR because he didnt want to be an RB. I believe we won over Oregon because they wanted him to be a RB.

    Georgia looks very beatable. Heck, eveyone looks beatable. Parity is a real thing, but I think we got a team now. They just can’t eat the rat poison and poop the bed in Kentucky.

    My snap judgment when reading his post was that Tre was an unsung hero. Hashtag’s posts are often provocative, but we are all really passionate about the horns and probably have some views that our normal friends and relatives consider obsessive. I took Hashtag’s post as a positive and maybe the delivery wasn’t the best. It is true that Tre does not get the recognition he deserves and he was the star of the game yesterday for sure. How he found those lanes was amazing.

    Thank you Bobby. I subscribed for your team’s opinions and recruiting news, not other subscribers who are aspiring coaches or pundits. While I appreciate the views of alot of other members, I don’t enjoy the personal attacks and superior attitudes. Hook Em!

    O line looked bad with Arch. When Caldwell came in he was quick with the throw. Our oline and Arch are not sympatico. Wr got nothing on the interior.

    31-0 Texas. Ohio State barely scored two touchdowns on us. Florida is not as good as OSU.

    People forget it took Tom Osborne 22 years to win at Nebraska and he won 3 national championships. If you have a coach consistently winning 10 games and going to the playoffs—you keep him.

    Man. You are right, I was cloudy in my old man memory. I was thinking of his game against Tennessee-whose defense was good but not great.

    In two weeks Lagway will be a worry. Look at what he did to Georgia last year. I am unsure if Georgia was prepared or not for him, but he is no joke when it clicks. I am more worried about Lagway than I was about Mateer. Just look at how Arch struggled. I’m going to this game and looking forward to the Swamp. I think they will regret moving it to 2:30. This will be a good game.

    One big take away from the Ohio State stats is that they will portal O-linemen, and find success doing it. I wish we would have looked at the kid from Rice.

    The drone show was amazing. Wife took a video of it, but it is hard to do it justice. Bevo in a car, footballs being impaled on the turnover sword. It would be hard to find a better atmosphere than a night game at DKR. First quarter I got in trouble with the wife for singing the lyrics to NECK when the band played it. Have to think every recruit wanted to come here after that game. You miss all that on TV.

    O-line looked mediocre again against a weak sam houston state defense. Clark dances in the hole too much for my tastw. Certainly exorcised some demons.

    I am reserving judgement until after this weekend. San Jose State and UTEP are not terrible teams. Everyone knew UTEPs defense was much improved and had the most TFLs coming into that game. We also had some injuries. Sam is just barely a D1 team and what talent they had got pillaged. I think Arch will probably look good against Sam. But if he doesn’t —a lot of things will need to change.

    I dont think our O-line is good enough for extensive RPO game….

    The Film Guy made a comment that a number of scouts do not believe Arch can make touch throws and cant make the short and intermediate throws consistently. I didnt want to believe that but it looks like it is true.
