    @Bobby Burton @Gerry Hamilton Last cycle we were pretty in on these guys and I wonder if it ever came out how much more Tech paid than our offer to get these guys? I think few people recognized Bailey could be a stud, but we were after him pretty hard. I feel like Lee Hunter would have also been a great hit for us.

    Be real hard to top Earl Campbell considering the way teams played back then versus now. Derrick Henry is the closest thing I’ve seen to Earl Campbell.

    With LSUs entire line entering the portal, I have to wonder what this means for their prospects of being any good next year. If they are retooling their entire line through the portal, good OL will be able to run the price up presumably. I think their line is further away than ours, and presumably Kiffin’s scheme is more friendly to OL than Kelly’s. But I think we will be after alot of the same OL as LSU. We really need to throw everything at Goosby staying.

    Unfortunately Tech is driving prices up as are other teams that will dole out mega bucks For the one player they think will get them over the top. We will unfortunately have to spend a lot to get the top portal guys. Remember last year when we lost Bailey to Tech and Dominic Williams to OU. NIL budget had better increase. If Tech makes a deep run, that will just encourage Campbell to spend more next year. Tre Wisner asking for a million means Jadan Baugh will want $3,000,000. Not saying it is realistic, but that’s where we are.

    I hope we see it. It is hard for me to dismiss all the times Sark went for it on 4th down and there were drops, penalties or missed assignments. He got flat out coached by Kirby last game and I hope these changes are the ones that put us over the top. I would love to know what went on behind the scenes after Georgia.

    In my opinion the wheels were in motion after Kirby went for it on 4th down then got the onside kick. We need someone who will go for the jugular when it is on the line and I’m sorry but that is not PKs style. Great DC—not a killer. Muschamp is exactly the kind of coach that will not let our defense come out flat like we did at Florida, or evaporate in 4th quarters.

    Now that I think about it, a youtube podcast hosted by Ketch and Chip Brown would be a pretty awesome competitor for Hereditary or some other scary Halloween movies.
