  1. I was with GH that Clemson wasn’t as bad as they showed, but I may be changing that now. UNC has one of the greatest ball minds of all time, but they’re also a dumpster fire. Dabo may be looking at a 6 or 7 win season, and then a career in TV.
  2. Is UNC potentially better than we thought, or is Clemson just that bad?
  3. I woke up at 1:45 AM and it is now 5:22 AM. It was shaky to start but boy was that a great comeback. Worth the very little sleep I got tonight. 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
  4. I would love to see Bama also go down today. Would’ve been sweet to see Aggie and OU also go down. Plus seeing Oregon go down.
  5. @Joe Z is listening to T-Swift of down bad. Should we send his dad ( @Gerry Hamilton) to check on him?
  6. OU could easily be 2-2 coming into the RRS. BV will be coaching for his season that game. What is going on in Stillwater? The wrong QB is putting on a first round/heisman performance. Are the Ducks just not for real this year? That DL is supposed to be legit.
  7. Somebody check on @CJ Vogel because of this Mateer dud.
  8. My two biggest takeaways are that the OL seemed more athletic and better at the point of attack, and the defense was much more aggressive. The OL will only get better as they gel together, and get in “game shape”. Muschamp will be able to get more complex with his game plans as the defense grows, younger guys get more run, and everyone understands their assignments better. Overall, in a much better place to start the year than last year. Remember that UTEP gave us a hard time. Next week’s message is challenging their physicality to set a tone for the season, and can they overcome one of the big bad wolves in tOSU.
  9. I’m in Europe for the month of September but still want to try as watch the Horns. Anybody have any streaming app recommendations they’ve tried while in Europe?
  10. I don’t think Oregon has ever made a big push in basketball, Joe Z. You do this post here on accident? Or do you have a different PNW team for basketball?
  11. Jeff, you are being far too rational. You’re supposed to tell us that every good player on the roster is heading to CS, the last remaining funding for the baseball program is about to be pulled, and the Disch will be torn down soon.
  12. There has to be more to the story here. He’s heading to a program that has had back-to-back underwhelming seasons and whose coach is on the hot seat.
  13. Another key part of this hire is that he teaches infield. BIG time infield teacher (think like Stapleton). The offense and infield both got better today.
  14. It seems that with some development in the fall (weight room and on the field), Walls could become the Sunday starter. Effortless delivery, live arm, quality pitches, Sophomore that could be a Friday or Saturday guy come 2028.
  15. Not Blake, but I will chime in quickly. Fremin has lived by the "do more with less" mantra for quite some time. It would be depth/competition pieces IF they did bring in any. I would say that is highly unlikely given the talent at Texas.
  16. Southeastern has had arguably two of their best teams in their program history, and didn't get out of the regional. At some point when you can go to a big time program like Texas lead an offense to go for only the third program in college softball history to be a 3-time champion, plus get what is likely a MAJOR pay bump, then you have to answer that call. He is regarded as an incredible offensive mind. Those smaller Louisiana schools (McNeese, Southeastern, Lafayette) are known to have some big time offensive softball. Fremin is one of those better offensive minds. I think you are going to see a MUCH more controlled aggressive ball club at the plate. I think Stewart goes for 30+ homers this year, and we see 2-3 more get into the 20+ homeruns. This is yet again an incredible hire.
  17. A heisman trophy winner would have to transfer in. A golden spikes winner would have to transfer in. You get my drift. Yes, I think she is the greatest to transfer in.
  18. Torres’ family has been in the softball world for a very long time. Isa’s dad is a director with the Hotshots (who’s main guy was allegedly tied to the exodus of players to Tech), but he’s also been a coach for a long time. From what I remember of coaching against him, and within the same organization, is that he will be wanting his daughter to go where she can win it. His oldest daughter didn’t win a title, and now his youngest is on her last opportunity. Isa will make money wherever she goes, but it won’t be steered by money. That family is far too competitive to just take money. All that to say that Tech won’t be able to just throw money on this one. Joe knows who the game of softball and knows what it takes to win. I bet they’re wanting to know more behind the scenes of the assistant hires before making a decision. Remember, Glasco has been regarded (by many on the big time travel ball circuit) as the guy who is “missing something” as a coach to be able to win it all. Last note. That family has done a TON of travel for a decade now. And, when the Torres sisters went through recruiting the Texas softball program was not even a tenth of what it is now. Being up the road in under an hour, as opposed to a plane ride or extensive road trip, is a fun thing for a year.
  19. Bama looks checked out. Need Ruger to be efficient and prevent using too many arms today.
  20. Will this adjust some based off of the draft? Speaking of the draft - what are we anticipating losses wise from the current roster, and from the HS recruits?
  21. Is he lacking defensively? Yes. Total cap? Don’t do the typical fandom thing when something bad happens. It’s way too early to do that.
  22. I can’t believe I witnessed that.
  23. They won despite Earlywine. It’s known in the softball world that he is not the best for teams. It’s a rough loss to have Coach Z gone. Former pro, head coach experience, and great and developing talent. Let’s see what White does now.
  24. ESPN trying hard to figure out how Texas won. That much emotion from Mike White tells you how much it means to him, and this team overall.
