    No questioning the talent. Almost scary optimism on the offense production. I need some pessimism to keep from a runaway, anyone got any?

    I love UT , all sports and follow all but I have to admit my interest level in some relate directly to their national success likelihood. Finding myself searching the TV listings more for when softball plays next rather than men’s basketball. Frontrunneritis.

    Coaching does matter, you hire a coach with a mediocre resume and you get what you saw on paper.

    With Disu the absolute upside would be sweet 16, without, win one is the best. Makes a huge difference but this bunch wasn’t going too far anyway.

    I just figured we would lose a ton but only Faye and Gonzalez were honored as seniors. So Taylor Jones, Gaston come back for another even though listed as seniors? Covid year deal?

    Bush with that Heisman was maybe the worst award designee ever. Was Bush an every down player anyway? Vince and there was no number two.

    Watched his game last night against Longview. Only a soph but the 6’4 guard is the real deal. They almost won that game due to his play. I am sure Coach T will be watching Trevor’s brother the next 2 years closely.

    I certainly don’t know but it would be a major plus for the D if he took a major step up.

    Kids out at night driving too fast, could kill their passengers, know it but do it anyway. Many other similars. Peanut deal, not even close to clear any of these guys knew it would kill. Social media self righteous lynch mobs are so predictable. Which is worse, knowing you could kill someone while driving reckless or not knowing you could with peanuts? Reason, all of the social uproar folk have actually driven too fast. Self examination is always good.

    Do you feel ,or think you will , that teams you couldn’t pull for will change now that they are not on our schedule and not a real recruiting rival threat? I mean all of us probably have a nephew or dad/mom connections to a , Tech etal. Another question , you think a few years down the road, Texas will garner some new following from fans of the Texas Big12 teams?
