But it’s the OL! lol. Sorry, but Arch just doesn’t have it on this level. He’s had too much training to be this bad. Thoughts on Milwee as QB coach?

All I Need is A Miracle…Mike+The Mechanics

Just realized Manning threw more scoring passes to OU players than Mateer yesterday.

Sorry CJ, the way our offense is performing the opponent simply needs their defensive players to fog a mirror to be effective against us. Our offense can be counted on to throw in plenty of penalities, turnovers, miscues, drops, bone-headed mistakes, and overall dysfunction to assist the opponents’ defenses. And our (un)special teams will not be left out of the party and insist on its share of gaffes to aid the opponent. We fans have much to be concerned about.

Totally agree Gerry. I’ve noticed on game sideline shots, Arch is predominantly either sitting and talking with teammates or alone (with a blank look in his eyes) while the offense is not on the field. He occasionally stands on the sidelines watching the field. My question is, why isn’t someone coaching him on the sidelines? Am I just not seeing that on camera? I’ve seen other QBs looking at pics of plays, formations etc. or talking with their position coaches. Just not seen it with Arch. The guy obviously needs instruction.

Well said Gerry. I might go easier on Sark for the offense’s performance if there was an OC to blame. But that’s him and he’s supposedly an offensive guru. I was a proponent of Sark being hired based on his offensive prowess. That’s not what I’m seeing here. For the last couple seasons, it’s erratic and disjointed offensive production. There’s no rhythm or identity. And after six years, we STILL have an underwhelming offensive line. How long do we have to wait to have 5 competent linemen? And our special teams have only regressed from Banks’ initial years. We keep watching the same stumbling performances. I like Arch as an athlete, but he’s just mediocre as a QB on the college level. He’s not progressing…stares down receivers, doesn’t throw with anticipation, slow processing and vision, doesn’t adjust to defensive looks…etc. I mean, considering his family pedigree, if anyone should be groomed and progressing in the position it should be him. But the stark fact is, he’s not. And Sark won’t bench him due to Sark’s loathing of adverse actions on his QBs due to his past as a QB himself. I swear Arch looks less confident every game. Today his wheels came completely off in the 4th quarter. It’s a stretch if the current version of this team can even make the CFP. I’m not wanting a HC change…that’s silly at this point and a reason we wandered in the wilderness over 10 years. But we’ve got glaring problems that don’t seem easy to to fix. Sark will not give up play calling…and probably won’t take action (post season) on Banks or Flood. Seems we are stuck with mediocrity at best.

We need Sark dialed into this game as much as the players themselves. The offense better have looked in the mirror and decided it was time to perform up to their level of talent and quit tripping all over themselves. Can't afford to take this game lightly no matter what tragedies are reportedly coming out of Norman.

Noles QB just throwing into double coverage really biting them right now. May have graduated Stanford in 3 years, but not showing football smarts.

Both those teams can stumble and bumble and stink up the field but pull out wins better than any other team.

I think this judge does LSU’s bidding, so I don’t see him holding them in contempt with what’s at stake with the pending federal action.

Key word is “rational”

You guys are great! Maybe add “watch alongs” for some playoff games when Horns not involved. Prefer listening to you guys over announcers

Big 12 strikes again

Not sure why you’d want to go so thin…just wait til a rash of injuries happens (and it will eventually) and then you’re SOL.

Yes! Really wanted this one!

Prayers for the Shipley family!

Georgia…but born in Pampa, TX. Moved to Duncanville at age 7 and graduated from there. Just retired and will be moving shortly.

Whoa! Dawgs were holding? Refs must have not gotten their checks

Booger is a joke

Still took Tech two years to buy a conference title after Texas and OU left. Not impressed.

Some yes, others no. There’s a contingent of fans that want rid of him.

Pathetic

Per Pete Thamel during the game broadcast: Arkansas search will culminate in coming days. 4 names linked: - Alex Golesh - Eric Morris - Ryan Silverfield - Kane Wommack

34-28 hogs. Hope I’m wrong…just no confidence in the defense.

And just like that…Bama wakes up
