  1. Usually means heavy money is coming in for Texas so the odds are decreasing in value so the house is less exposed or a potential leak from sources that Texas has a much better chance to get in than originally anticipated. The movement bodes well for Texas as far as the line and odds.
  2. Great hire by LSU. Essentially setting back Ole Miss run this season and getting their main target.
  3. Really hoping James Madison wins it all
  4. Add on top of it that more playoff teams means more games played against playoff competition to reach the championship. There is absolutely no reason to schedule tough non con games moving forward. It will only hurt your case.
  5. Not necessarily. I would like them to go back to the BCS formula. The BCS formula was explicitly designed to incorporate strength of schedule (SOS) as a key component alongside human polls and a penalty for each loss. "Quality Wins" Bonus: Later iterations of the formula added a bonus for beating top-15 teams, further rewarding teams that challenged themselves. Mitigating Penalties: Playing a hard schedule meant that a loss against a "team of substance" was not punished as severely as a loss to a weak team. Strength of Schedule Component: Teams were ranked 1 through 115 (at the time) based on the winning percentages of their opponents and their opponents' opponents. A team's rank in this category contributed to their overall BCS score (lower score was better, like golf). Key Example: 2007 LSU Tigers The 2007 college football season is the most famous instance where the traditional emphasis on an unblemished record was overturned by the BCS system's flexibility. LSU's Record: LSU finished the regular season with two losses. The Outcome: The Tigers were selected to play for the national championship and ultimately won the BCS National Championship, the first and only two-loss team ever to do so in the BCS era.
  6. I'd rather Texas be weak and timid according to folks if it means Texas is in the playoffs.
  7. The season improved especially offensively but I didn't enjoy watching the offensive struggles, a turnstile at left guard most of the season. The run game was abysmal most of the year. The team really didn't play a full game where all three phases played well for an entire 60 minutes. Yesterday's game was probably the closest to that. Didn't enjoy the Ohio state game, San Jose State was a struggle, UTEP was ugly. Kansas was ugly, miss State was ugly, Florida and georgia games were disappointing. Second half vs OU, first half vs Vandy, offense vs Arkansas and Sam Houston State and yesterday's victory were enjoyable. If Texas replicates this season next year it would be a massive disappointment. Its not a complete waste but it fell below the standard that they have set, especially as a pre season number one. They improved tremendously which gives great optimism but the players and staff expected better and as fans, we do too.
  8. Goosby was a beast tonight. Ill never forget this win. Aggies having an undefeated season would be like Rick Vaughn not getting Nikki back. It wouldn't be right. Memorable win, Wisner was spectacular, Taaffe with a pick and win on senior night and Ethan Burke was nails. Shipley was key as well he got the job done from Gerrys vaunted right hash.
  9. It ain't no secret all of Texas loves Malakai Lee. Come home Big Dog! 🤘🏼
  10. She is attacking fearlessly love to see it. Texas came ready to play, they are well prepared and executing well. Let's hope they can keep it up in the 2nd half.
  11. He was third in sec rushing last year but the best returning back based on productivity. Dylan Sampson for Tennessee had 1491 yards and Jarquez Hunter of Auburn had 1201 rushing yards. Wisner had 1064 in 15 games which was good for 8th in the SEC in rushing yards per game at 70.9.
  12. Could Scherer be used in an Agbo role at tight end in heavy run sets?
  13. Texas will absolutely reach out.
  14. One of the positives this season has been the progression of Arch Manning. He has been surgical since the Miss State game. Any questions to put in Caldwell have been doused. Arch Manning along with Colin Simmons, Anthony Hill, Malik Muhammad, Michael Taaffe and Emmett Mosley are probably the best football players on this team. There are other standouts on top of the players I listed but questioning Arch as Texas quarterback is malpractice.
  15. After you vote once, vote again constantly. Rather than ragging on Sark and current program do your part in recruiting. Vote Derek Cooper. He promises to fix your rushing problems and ensure red zone answers. Alright, enough of your stubbornness...If you want to see Bobby Burton eat a mayo corndog, vote Derek Cooper today!
  16. We live in a world of click-bait, look at me type of reporting. Rather than have facts and truth, speculate to go viral by raising eyebrows and generating conversation. He can then claim it was just a post on social media not in a formal setting without saying he has any sources. None of this beneficial to the Texas program coming from a Michigan alum, but got his clicks up and name in the headlines again.
