  1. He was by far their best player and a guy that looked like Bryan Bresee 2.0. Constant push and penetration. Great size and explosiveness.
  2. Breaking News: Bobby Burton has entered the transfer portal and is being courted as Tennessees next Head Coach.
  3. I'm so glad I missed on Blue. "You're my boy Blue!" Great performance for a kid thats really had a tough year but showed his express talent in a playoff game, Thank you for the appreciation. I hope we're all celebrating tonight, this has been such a turnaround under Sark and a tremendous honor to watch this team play.
  4. Nancy, I hope you enjoyed the game and I'm praying for you as is all of Longhorn Nation and the On Texas Football Family. Get well soon.
  5. I'm in agreement with you on that one. I'll be disgusted if I see the yellow flags fly every big offensive play for Texas or on touchdowns. Too much referee intervention in today's game, especially at the pro level but everywhere to be honest.
  6. Yes I'm into conspiracies and I don't think these entertainment companies want blowouts every game where people tune out. They pay a lot for the rights to broadcast the games and want to maximize revenue. Perhaps I'm crazy but the refs always seem to be unkind to Texas in big games. See Big 12 title vs Oklahoma with Kyler Murray and SEC title game vs Georgia. Hoping they let today be a fairly played game.
  7. South Carolina got off to a slow start but I felt as the season went on they were playing just about as good of football as anybody.
  8. I have no dog in this fight but I'm starting to feel bad for the kid. Brutal performance.
  9. The poor kid didnt have time to do his christmas shopping so hes gift wrapping INT's today
  10. I'm not saying Quinn is the greatest thing since sliced bread but watching these other playoff QBs really puts into perspective how spoiled we are as Longhorns fans to be looking towards the future while having a future pro signal caller. Unfortunately, Klubnik is also in that category. SMU QB looks lost.
  11. IU has made some crucial mistakes on the road. Neutral field etc might not turn it over with an INT in the Red then give up more rush yards on a single play than they normally give up in a game. Up until the past month or so I severely underrated the value of home games first round with weather and crowd.
  12. When you buy a tickle me elko do you get two test tickles?
  13. Did he really leave Duck Camp University to go get Laynes Chicken in College Station? Thats some good eatin
  14. CJ will only put more cheese on Indiana at halftime if we all get the nod of approval from Gerry in the mobile global command center
  15. You may be right but he has arguably done more than any QB with less around him this season in all of college football. Indiana fans will take JAG like that any time.
  16. Texas 31-17 Ewers 268 2 Tds - 0 int 1 rush td Wisner 19 - 102 yds 1 rush td Golden 5rec - 77 1 TD Wingo 3rec - 48 Moore 3rec - 22 Bolden 4rec - 42 Helm 4 for 36 1 TD Blue 3 for 19 Wisner 2rec for 12 Hoping the defense is similar to the Bucs vs Kansas City in the super bowl a few years ago. Take away the run game, make Clemson one dimensional and come downhill with pressure forcing Klubnik to scramble for his life.
  17. The first NFL game i ever went to I saw Eddie George at New England with Drew bledsoe live. I went home and that day rookie Randy moss had 3 touchdowns against Tampa Bay. The commentary by these big networks is horrendous. If Stephen a Smith is getting 120 million, Gerry Hamilton is gonna demand Juan Soto type money. I pray Randy gets well soon and I'm certainly praying for him every day.
  18. He's actually very funny. Dry humor. His dad wrote the original book of scouting. Saban has a similar personality, was he a horrible recruiter? Were guys like Corey Dillon and Randy moss malcontents that bought into a patriots program and competed at the highest level? I think a lot of guys would love to play for both sanders and Belichick. They will learn a lot more under Bill.
  19. Bill will be a threat in my opinion. He will outscheme pretty much everybody. His problem at the NFL level was a few bad drafts as a gm. Coaching was always elite. Patriots wish they had a coach of bills caliber right now, mayo can't hold a candle.
  20. It's amazing to me that a team could hire an absolute can and it wouldn't face criticism yet the best coach I've ever seen at the highest level is being destroyed because he bangs hot women. He is another Saban but at a smaller school. As Texas fans we're lucky he wasn't at UNC earlier because he does his homework and would have offered Michael Taaffe. This is also a challenge he is taking personally as he was fired before the patriots took unc QB Drake Maye. Knowing Bill, he will have a goal to win the ACC before Drake Maye wins the afc East. If you're North Carolina, can't think of a better hire. Will bring a tremendous staff, great coaches and can make average talent look elite.
  21. He can, but I'm not confident he can consistently and that's the problem. In year 3 I expected the highs to be a lot more frequent and the lows to be a lot more infrequent. He diced Florida, can he consistently destroy SEC and playoff caliber defenses? Perhaps in between the 20s but they need touchdowns.
  22. Does Fasusi really want to go to a losing program where he'll get smashed? In my opinion sheer stupidity to go to Oklahoma. If he does, transfer after a year or two. Who else is a real threat in the sec? I wouldn't extend a big money offer if it's Oklahoma. Allocate resources next year if he doesn't want us now and is really a need.
  23. I hope Charles reconsiders and sticks with Texas but it's too early to panic. I never would have expected Jermayne Lole to be as valuable and cost effective as he's been when many would have preferred to overpay for guys like Bear Alexander prior. Trust the process and trust in Sark! 🤘
  24. Just wanted to start a thread if there hasn't been one yet to thank coach PK. The defensive side of the ball has been the best D I've seen all year across the country. It's been a pleasure to watch. This is as good of a Texas defense since when?
  25. Absolutely. I think Texas is the best team in the nation but need to play a lot better than today to prove that. Nice win, a lot to learn from. They have been very good against what's in front of them, just need a little better execution to win it all imo. Fumble issues are still a worry. I feel more confident in the defense than in the offense which is not what I had anticipated coming into the year. Both are elite but the pass rushing is such a breath of fresh air allowing such a diverse attack from Nansen and PK.
