One run on three hits for the Aggies in the eighth, but two left on base. We go to the home half with Texas looking to extend the lead.

Volantis gets Harrison to hack at strike three to get the Longhorns out of the inning.

Gumbo knocks down a ground ball back up the middle by Sorrell. Two on, two down for Harrison and Max Weiner comes out to talk to Volantis.

Henseler's AB is scored as an RBI single. The Aggies have the tying run on first base with the go-ahead run at the plate with two down in the top of the eighth.

Henseler's sky-high pop-up in front of the mound is misplayed by Schuessler. Royo scores and it's a 2-1 game.

Volantis strikes out Laviolette. A huge second out with some nasty pitches by Volantis.

Grubbs retires Kiel on strikes. One out with a runner on second and that'll be it for Grubbs. Texas will bring in Volantis to face Laviolette.

Wilson gets Mendoza to look at a 95 mph fastball running in on him. That ends the seventh.

Duplantier officially reaches on a two-base error charged to Kent. Lefty Kaiden Wilson is now on the bump in relief of Weston Moss.

Kent and Kiel get tied up in left. Duplantier's fly ball drops. Texas has a runner on second with two outs.

Famer swung at the first pitch he saw from Moss. I wonder if saw something during Borba's 10-pitch AB.

Tommy Farmer picked a helluva time for his first collegiate home run. Moss hung one, Farmer put a good swing on it and it was a 362-foot homer into the visiting bullpen. Texas has the lead in the seventh, 2-0.
