Blake Munroe

Crowd definitely in the game now.

2-1 Texas leads! 2 out, runner on 2.

I have no clue lol. I think it’s just her celebration.

Let’s goooo. 1-1 with a runner on 2nd and 1 out.

Haha it’s so crazy compared to baseball.

Mia Scott has that killer mentality. Great job getting the lead runner at 3rd and turning two at 1st.

I’ll also add this, as much as it pains me to say it, they’re much better than No. 16. If we are ranking teams on how well they’re playing without taking their record into consideration, they’re top 5-6.

Playing out of their minds defensively more than anything. Great defense from the pitching to the fielding to situational awareness. They’re stout and playing some phenomenal softball right now. They’d give any single team in the nation fits playing like this. They got hot toward the end of the season and it’s carried over.

Hell of a throw by the Ags outfielder to get Atwood at third. 1-0 TAMU leads at the end of 2.

No offense in the first (7 pitches, 3 outs), but Reese is up to bat. Let’s see what happens.

We have a thread for the series, FYI. Come join us!

Monday 11:35 AM Update: Texas Is IN *** Sunday 7:40 PM Update: Host Sites Have Been Announced Arizona Florida State Oklahoma State UC Santa Barbara North Carolina State Oklahoma Kentucky Tennessee East Carolina Arkansas Oregon State Clemson Virginia North Carolina Texas A&M Georgia Again, I fully expect Texas to land in College Station. We will find out tomorrow at 11:00 AM CST. *** Host sites are announced at 7:30 Sunday night, with seeding announced Monday at 11:00 AM. I fully expect the Longhorns to be a No. 2 seed. I’m also projecting them to head to College Station, as the Aggies will most definitely be hosting. This will be the Horns 63rd postseason appearance overall, which is more than any other school in the nation. We will update this thread with information when it becomes available.

Not sure what up with Reese today. That’s 2 she’s dropped in the first inning. and that next pitch should have been a strikeout. Terrible call.

Gotta tighten up defensively. Fumbling around with the ball in the outfield ain’t it.

Reese Atwood is 2 RBIs away from the Big 12 record.

About to start!

I know others have answered, but you’re correct. Super regionals in both baseball and softball work the same way: 1. Regional winners go head to head. 2. It’s a best of 3 series. 3. Winner of each super regional advances to the College World Series.
