Blake Munroe

Louisiana pitcher just doesn’t have the control right now. If Texas can stay disciplined at the plate, they should take advantage. Wow. Mark an error to Louisiana there and Texas gets lucky off the hit from Kennedy. Bases still loaded. 1 out. Texas leaders 5-2.

Dang it. Gasparino strikes out on the inside 2 seamer.

Texas gets walked and Louisiana walks one in. 4-2. Bases loaded. No outs.

Let’s get greedy. We need four.

Bases loaded with no outs. This is where you go All Gas, No Brakes!

GREAT bunt by Schuessler. So dang good. You can’t cover that defensively. Not too hard, not too soft. That’s a master class on bunting. Runners on 1st and 2nd now. No outs.

Hell of a job getting out of that. 4-6-3 double play and the Longhorns still lead as we head to the 5th.

Drag it out…. Gives bullpen time and doesn’t allow them to get a bigger lead off 2nd.

Geez…. Don’t load the bases on a walk. Hell of a play there. Announcer said it best “wasn’t pretty but it got the job done”.

And this is why. Sounds like they’re doing just that with the bullpen. Take you time here, let them get warm. Drag this out.

Top 3 hitters:

No one that dominant, unfortunately.

Louisiana opens up with a double. 3 hits so far for Louisiana. 7 hits thus far for Texas. I’d start warming up the bullpen.

Powell got down in count early and couldn’t recover. 3 outs. Heading to B4, Texas up 3-2.

Bases loaded with 2 outs. Let’s go Powell. Your time to shine!

Louisiana gonna change pitchers.

Dee Kennedy comes in clutch. Horns take the lead!! 2 RBI single makes it 3-2, 2 runners on, 1 out.

There we go! Galvan drives KS in, Brown advanced to third. 2-1. 1 out.

KS doing all he can to win this one. 2 doubles. Runners on the corners.

We head to the top of the 4th. Longhorns trail 2-0.

And Grubbs gives up another homer. 2-0.

Nice grab by Thomas there for the second out.

No sir. All levels of the minors still have absolute ballers, especially the upper echelon.

…And the RISP issues continue to rear their ugly head like they have throughout the season for Texas. That’s now two innings where they left em stranded. M3. Louisiana leads 1-0.
