    Haha. They predicted the Georgia series completely wrong, along with Kentucky. At this point it’s a good sign for Texas when they say it’s going to be close or predict the Horns to lose!

    Per Texas, freshman phenom Jonah Williams will get the start tonight in left field. Although he’s seen some playing time this season, this will be his first start on the Forty Acres. Once the season concludes, Williams will “switch back” to football.

    A few quick thoughts before bed: - It was huge to get the win tonight. Really, really big deal there. Sets the tone for the next two days - Grubbs is so good. Just solid baseball every single time. - As good as Grubbs is, I’m not sure there’s a more reliable guy than Volantis right now. And he’s only a freshman. His ceiling is amazing and we are only scratching the surface. - Texas A&M looks really good all of the sudden. Say what you want, but that series is going to be a tough one. - There’s a lot of really good college baseball teams this year and not a lot of great ones.

    I’ll be happy with a series win lol. FWIW, RPI predictor has Texas losing by one on Thursday, winning by one on Friday, and winning by two on Sat (iirc). close games all around!
