  1. More like Sark getting leftovers after missing on a priority. Sark isn’t contacting him if he lands Moore, let’s be real here.
  2. He see no path to PT at Oregon with the addition to DK Moore? Can’t blame him for wanting to leave.
  3. Sark has made some head scratching decisions with retaining coaches who aren’t getting it done on the field, namely secondary and then replacing a DL coach with one who has no recruiting experience at one of most important positions in college football, the cherry was elevating some folks that may have no been ready, only time will tell on them though IMO. Might just be me but Sark seems more reactionary and very conservative with staffing decisions. Example, LSU was ranked in the 90s in pass defense one year, Brian Kelly knew that wasn’t good enough and made swift changes. Texas ranked significantly worse at 113th and Sark brings all coaches back, all while this having not been a one year issue. Seems odd to me, there’s no doubt Sark is stubborn, see it with his NIL approach and staffing decisions, he may need to adjust. His culture mantra and NIL talk seems very Dabo like to me
  4. It’s either that or the coaches are being out worked and out recruited. May be a little of both? I’d guess money is close but the recruits are hearing other coaches messaging or it’s more persuasive. If being out spent, I don’t see Florida state, Ohio State and Oregon all out spending us. Given we’ve seen sark have to rely on a lot of late flips and losing recruits the first time around every year, this isn’t anything new. I simply don’t think their message is heard by some.
  5. Yeah, and the teams at the top can offer the most playing time, Ohio State, Georgia and Alabama. This is a beyond ridiculous claim
  6. Bobby is honest, that is why I respect him so much, calls it like it is. That’s what everyone should seek, transparency.
  7. I agree. That is fandom 101, make excuses and come up with any reason for why we missed on someone except for accountability and actually saying the coaches need to do a better job. It’s extremely bizarre behavior but it’s always been that way.
  8. Vic is an elite coach!! Hell of a pickup.
  9. Seems this has been a reoccurring theme for several prospects in the last few cycles, very odd and not something you’d expect.
  10. Schloss is going to build a monster, just watch. Dude is elite, prospects know too. Great get!
  11. Hey now, I get Texas by default due to asking 🤣. Would be fun to run with a bunch of smaller teams too though
  12. PS5 here, I’m down but who gets Texas? I’m sure we all want Texas lol
  13. Yup, Sark wouldn’t have signed Moore or Brew, they weren’t top targets for Texas. Believe it or not, other coaches outside of Sark value culture, suggesting otherwise is silly talk. edit: Devil’s advocate here, maybe Lanning can take flyers on players such as Evan Stewart because he trust his locker room and culture enough to get everyone in line. The reason I say this is because a former texas player tweeted such in reference to Stewart, suggesting Sark didn’t trust his culture enough to bring in someone like that, what’s that say about his culture?
  14. So a coach that coached under Nick Saban and the Kirby Smart coaching tree that has gone 10-3 and 12-2 in his first two seasons as a coach could care less about culture? Give me a break. I love how Sark is some culture master and guru yet his results as a coach don’t match. The hanging onto the invisible data points without results to back claims up is bizarre fandom logic.
  15. I keep asking myself how might this class look had Sark hired Marshall Malchow when he had the opportunity to do so.
  16. Yup! And get as many to OV as possible because it’s clear, we don’t bat even .200
  17. Good listen, I enjoyed it!
  18. Sark and Co got out recruited and out worked?
  19. He’s recruiting like he’s already there. Salary cap is in full swing at Moncrief.
  20. Correct! LSU hired a guy with skins on the wall like a power program should, recruits followed. Either we couldn’t get someone to make a lateral move or Sark decided he liked to play roulette.
  21. You’re making my point for me. And instead they followed the coach they had a relationship with to his new school. Had Sark hired a coach with prior relationships or one that actually worked in college we’d have some commits right now. Instead he hired a DE assistant coach from the NFL with no relationships and no recruiting experience. For one of the most important positions that’s a huge gamble to say the least. I’m not saying he won’t end up being good what I’m saying is blaming Bo for Sarks decision is comical.
  22. Is LSU blaming their previous DL coach today? Absolutely not because LSU hired a coach with recruiting experience and relationships, and is in turn landing recruits. Sark hired a coach with zero relationships or recruiting experience and has whiffed on every target he got to take an official visit. This isn’t Bo Davis fault, our loan commit was a a player Bo got to commit to Texas, Baker couldn’t convince him to stay and he gave him a real chance. Texas fans LOVE to blame previous coaches for the current coaches shortcomings, it’s a favorite, a continuous tag line. Surprised Herman isn’t at fault for us struggling on the recruiting trail this year in all honesty.
  23. No, Sark hiring an NFL assistant with zero recruiting experience and or relationships hurt Texas.
