  1. 100+ million buyout may be an issue
  2. Crazy I've been vindicated again, but Im not going to send screenshots of messages I have received just to appeal a thousand people Connor.
  3. In all realness here are the candidates: 1. Kiffin 2. Freeman 3. DeBoer 4. Clark Lea 5. Brent Key HM: They will make phone calls to Saban, Lanning, etc. but highly unlikely
  4. Yes however, Oregon is very much in a Texas Tech position in that they have to pay a premium for recruits to go there due to its geographical location.
  5. Kiffin is also a Sexton client, always interesting that nobody has taken the Florida job almost like many were anticipating a better one opening, also Cignetti is not leaving however I know people dismiss Dan Lanning but, and a big one at that, Texas and Georgia are the only schools that could potentially coo him away from Oregon
  6. Not happening, really curious Lane KIFFIN hasn’t taken the Florida Job yet…. That’s all I’ll say
  7. People hated on me for saying the truth….
  8. Oh Gerry, I think people behind the scenes know the real reason
  9. I have no clue at all @Oldest Hornthank you for knowing myself better than I do! I can always trust you as a reliable source to all Texas football news! 😂
  10. No definitely not @Oldest Horn nothing is going on behind the scenes that is negatively impacting the team at all!
  11. I agree Herman was not a good coach but it’s inexcusable for Sark to have an Herman-esque season with the resources available today. But I think the truth is that Texas needs to stop hiring coaches with skeletons in the closet, and get high class proven commodities.
  12. I know a HC that I would really recommend for the job....He also wears a shade of orange sometime too!
  13. High emphasis on the second to last paragraph. Internal factors occurring behind the scenes are not the fault of Texas reporters. How is it Gerry’s fault that Texas is playing like they are?
  14. If you only knew how bad things truly were….
  15. Dude is a realist what can you say….We saw a lack of toughness on Saturday, Why was that? Do you have a good explanation? Why did we get whipped for four quarters?
  16. Brother why are we in a rebuild in year 6 of Sark with the portal such a prominent deal these days. I think we need to all look at the elephant in the room.
  17. What’s the betting line for this in the post game press conference? The betting man in me says he doesn’t take accountability and deflects blame for the millionth time but who knows.
  18. Yea man year 6 and 10 million dollars for a rebuild such a pathetic and loser mindset
  19. I agree if there is anybody that deserves to be paid the most it is PK, and the wonders he has done. But you’re right the semifinals may be truly the ceiling and I started to notice it last year because of Sark’s consistent lack of accountability in my opinion is resulting in his downfall. Sadly Sark appears to be a stepping stone when many including I thought he was the answer.
  20. I am trying my best not to repeat myself but I have some thoughts that I want to spit out. Arch should not be receiving all the blame. I understand the grief and distraught from seeing a Manning under throw and spike a 5 yard mesh but at the same time, where is the help? We all like to harp back on last years Arch, well last years Arch had the benefits of arguably two first round picks at WR, a three year veteran o-line, and the list goes on. Sark must share equal blame in my opinion, and if he shouldn’t then I’d love to hear y’all’s opinions. But Arch looks like a very good player on a bad team, but he knows it’s bad so he starts pressing, which results in the breakdown of the most simple throws, which then only spirals from there leading to his horribly poor performances and everyone to point the finger at him. On top of this in my opinion Kyle Flood needs to get talked about more, I get some blame for AJ Milwee but what is Milwee supposed to do, like truthfully, I can assure everyone that Archs mechanics probably look just fine in practice. My main problem is that Flood has prioritized ‘big humans’ and other than Kelvin Banks Jr. and maybe Goosby, where is the quality O-linemen that other top programs produce? It’s Floods and Sarks fifth year and we are looking at regression?? I understand and feel the same way about Sark giving up play calling but that’s a moot point at this point in the season. Truthfully when you have a coach getting paid nearly as much as coaches who have gotten to the promised land and won ‘consistently’ that is a problem which can lead to massive pressure and massive arrogance, as well as complacency. Another thing I would like to harp on is it Arch’s fault that our systemic issues are still prevalent in year 5? Penalties, redzone, 3rd down, again putting so much pressure on Arch to fix these problems without really truly addressing the coaching aspect that may be the issue. Watching games over the weekend, I don’t believe it’s Arch’s fault that the O-line cannot get an ounce of push sometimes even against UTEP!!! They why not go to the portal then?? Again what do I know, I could be talking out of my *** but I’m tired of seeing an unfinished product every Saturday for years and years. My final thought is a hot take in that if Sark fails Arch, his days in Austin will be numbered. Love to hear opinions!
