  1. I had forgot that name as well. That team had virtually zero LB depth... had to stay healthy.
  2. Texas goal for him was 223'ish. Very nice
  3. 20 NFL Draft picks that appeared on that team (guys like Jermichael Finley, Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley etc... red shirted) 5 first rounders 4 second rounders 3 third rounders

  5. Conversation: 2005 Texas Longhorns National Championship Two-Deep This was the Texas Longhorns official two-deep from the 2005 Big 12 Championship team. So the discussion is this ... where is that team better than the 2026 Texas team on paper. I know the 2026 team is yet to play, but it's a fun look back and comparison a few days out from SEC Media Days. 6. Not sure what it says OTF was told Texas-Ohio State weekend for OV is very likely
  7. Kentucky the No. 2 big winner of offseason after Florida is a truly asinine take … geez
  8. I believe he’s a terrific young coach. Think hes built for college football, if he stays in it long enough. Does that mean guaranteed NC’s? Of course not. Some terrific coaches didn’t win an NC in the history of the sport, while a lot lesser coaches did.
  9. 2 seed in Fort Worth then San Antonio
  10. Texas is out of spots, but didn’t have interest anyways All minutes at guard and wing are accounted for
  11. It got moved to Dixie County, Fla while you were out of the country
  12. Auburn with the kicker betting odds for their season at O/U 6.5 wins
  13. lol … that’s a lot of Kobe pictures, jerseys and DVD’s
  14. I'll give this a quick run down from my perspective and intel ... Mikey Lewis - will play starter minutes. Will be high-level pro in Europe with chance to be in NBA Summer League/G-league following 2027-28 season. Amari Evans - Very key role player. Best on ball defender at guard spot. Will look like a more confident offensive player in year two of major college hoops. A career in basketball, likely Europe, after college. NBA teams like him as a defender at 6-5 with a +5 wingspan, but offensive game has to ascend the next 2-3 years. Isaiah Johnson - grown to 6-2 since entering college (from 6-1). Has a +5 wingspan, so plays longer. Frame looking stronger. Up 20’ish pounds since enrolling in college, as well. Has been terrific since arriving. Will be a first round NBA pick after the 2027 or 2028 season. Joe Sterling - Has been an elite shooter vs. Texas teammates in workouts to this point since arriving in Austin. May not see much of him this season, but he has chance to be key role player with development and experience at this level. Coleman Elkins - had a two week sickness shortly after enrolling, in which he lost strength and time. This was going to be a development year anyways. Won't be seen until 2027-28. Bo Ogden - Will play a key role this season. Has shot the ball very well. Best understanding of floor spacing on the team, along with Isaiah Johnson. Physical and hyper competitive player. That gives him the ability to compete on the glass. Strong frame too, allows him to take and play through contact. Elyjah Freeman - So much upside. Best second jump athlete on team. Most explosive vertical player on team. Reactive quickness allows him to make plays defensively, along with his length. Playing well in ball screen game offensively. Shot 41% on open 3's last season at Auburn, but only 28% on contested 3's (needs to be 32-33% on contested's) for 34% overall. Feeling is he will take step, and could find his way to 36%'ish with good shot selection. Adding strength is goal No. 1 for staff, followed by shot selection and making more plays for others. Should make nice jump in year two of major college basketball. Tracking to be second round NBA pick following 2027 or 2028 season, with first round upside. Matas Vokietaitis - Body fat % down from last year. Working on defensive end to expand from being just a drop coverage defender. Also working daily after workouts from the free throw line and top of key three's. OTF isn't saying Matas is going to be hoisting three's this season, but Texas is working on his development. Tracking to be a second round NBA pick following the 2027 or 2028 season. John Clark - Big summer for Clark with Spears Jr. in the fold. Is proving to have SEC level defensive and rebounding ability. Flashed improved and strong downhill attacking ability off bounce vs. similar sized defender. Austin Goosby - Has really come on last two weeks after settling in. Has made plenty of impressive aggressive plays. Will play starter minutes, and likely start at CG/SG. Texas working on guide hand/usage within his jump shot mechanics now and leading into the season. A future first round/lottery pick after the 2027 or 2028 season. David Punch - Will be a starter, and play starter minutes. Been as expected, which is impressive on both ends and a very good fit with Matas and Isaiah Johnson. Future second round NBA draft pick in 2027 or 2028. Texas working on guide hand/usage within his jump shot mechanics now and leading into the season. Lewis Obiorah - Has been improved this summer. A 7-1, 255 -pound pest of sorts on defense. Expected to play a shot blocker/rim protector role in short spurts this season. Plays his role on the offensive end, as screener and positional offensive rebounder. Mantas Laurencikas - Plan is for development in year one. Won't get to campus until August. Marcus Spears Jr. - Got student ID Monday, and begins workouts this week following all the medical stuff new athletes go through once enrolling. Will be a very key role player, obviously. Anthony McDermott - 15th scholarship depth.
  15. CBS' reason ... the one we've all been talking about since the release: the schedule https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/college-football-playoff-contenders-tier-2026/

  17. He will see special teams this year ... from what I hear. Get his feet wet year one
  18. Still waiting on word from NCAA on waiver. Schools that recruited him knew he wasn't a lock. Three years in G-league, and two in Overtime. He's technically been a pro for five seasons already. He shouldn't get a waiver, but I'm sure it will be a lawsuit/injunction scenario of denied.
  19. https://www.instagram.com/p/DawDalVThZp/?igsh=MWJyMHB4dnllYWQ1bA== got ID today. Begins workouts with team this week
  20. @Joe Zura
  21. I’m with Parrish, but I have Texas 4. If UConn adds someone else, bump ahead. Solo Ball is a big loss for them, assuming he does sit out entire season
  22. Aggies better get Bryson Warren cleared. This league is so freaking talented
  23. I hit 93.2 on I-10 today
