Recruiting is just different now ... it's 80% (at least) transactional. Kids just don't care nearly as much about that anymore

@Joe Zurawill only want to talk about Jett Washington

I haven't looked at his position rankings, so can't say for sure! I'm guessing yes, however.

Yep. Will have 4 NFL draft picks more than likely ... very strong. Five players who were starters or multi-year starters.

I'm not a big Elite 11 guy ... because it's an on air QB competition. And making plays under duress is what matters most as a QB, and you just can't replicate it. Recent winners (it's hit or miss to a certain extent) 2024 - Keelon Russell - Alabama 2023 - Julian Sayin - Ohio State 2022 - Jackson Arnold - OU/Auburn 2021 - Cade Klubnik - Clemson 2020 - Caleb Williams 2019 - CJ Stroud 2018 - Spencer Rattler 2017 - Justin Fields 2016 - Tua Tagovailoa 2015 - Shea Patterson - no NFL 2014 - Blake Barnett - no NFL 2013 - Sean White - no NFL

Texas is trying on Henderson and Wesley for sure at EDGE. Xavier Griffin is a 6-3.5, 202-pound LB that can rush off the edge.

What's remaining on the EDGE board for the Longhorns ... Texas leads for 4-star+ Jamarion Carlton (Temple High) Texas hosting 5-star Trenton Henderson (Pensacola, Fla./Catholic) and 4-star++ Richard Wesley (Chatsworth, Calif./Sierra Canyon) this weekend. Texas hosted 4-star++ Jake Kreul (Orlando, Fla./IMG Academy) last weekend.
