    I don’t blame the kid for leaning round ball. For the most part he will have less pain when he’s older and probably have more money if he can throw 97 into the mit.

    Interesting. I would almost flip Kentucky and OU but that’s more the Longhorn in me coming out. 😂 Alabama will be fine. Maybe not by their fan’s standards but I’m not ready to keep them out of the SEC race. They do have a heisman contender at QB. I personally don’t think Freeze will make it. Talent isn’t their issue. But I believe Auburn will be a team that can beat the brakes off teams that aren’t prepared. I still have concerns about our schedule. Regardless whether OU and ATM will be ranked those games won’t be easy. They rarely are. Michigan will be tough especially since Wink Martindale likes to blitz every snap. Arkansas in Fayetteville won’t be easy and of course Kentucky has a really good team and a solid coach even though he is a Stoops. I think 10 wins in regular season would be awesome!

    Love it! Interesting he mentioned a couple of times about being fake vs real. That to me shows he has good character.

    I’m a fan of kids like Surrat that are 2 star athletes. I am impressed with that 65. I shot a 65 once but it was a 9 hole course. 🤦‍♂️

    Looking forward to hearing Brooks. I have a question for Brooks if you get a chance. What pitcher do you see making the most impact aside from the assumed starting rotation of Witt, LBJ and Hurley?

    I don’t think Shanahan will make the same mistake John Harbaugh did and not try to run on the Chiefs. I believe niners will have a decent run game. BUT- no way I’m betting against Reid and Mahomes. As a Cowboys fan I’ll be rooting for the Chiefs.

    Well done Bobby! I like the way you laid this out. It’s obviously hard to predict how kids pan out at the college level. There’s a ton of distractions and new things to get used to. I think the culture that Sark and staff has built in terms of emphasis on enrolling early, being laser focused and putting in hard work helps instill that mindset early on in the players and, as a result helps minimizes the “misses”. The relatively low number of transfers out of the program I think shows Sark and staff are hitting at a pretty high rate.

    Is there a secret to getting the livestream to start at the beginning? Often when I’m tuned in waiting for y’all to start when I first see the livestream Blake is already talking, or at times Blake has already finished with his into and Bobby or someone else is talking. I even have hit the refresh button repeatedly and it still doesn’t help. I usually watch from my computer but I’ve noticed the same issue in my I phone. I’d say only 1 out of 10 times does it start by showing the number count down which I see when I go back and watch the livestream afterwards.

    I hope those guys can gel fast and get on the same page with Quinn. They are seasoned veterans so that should help.

    Stacked RB room no doubt. If I was being picky I would love to see a back in that room similar to Duece Vaughn. Short enough (5’ 5” or so) to literally hide behind the line of scrimmage but stout enough to tolerate the position. This type of back doesn’t seem to be what Sark looks for.

    I think Texas will be good on offense next season but will experience some learning curves on both sides of the ball. Even though experience exists with the receivers there’s little chemistry between them and Quinn. That, in my opinion will need to happen before they can come out hitting on all cylinders. Defense is similar with new faces but hopefully can pull it together by the time conference starts. I think they have a tougher schedule than last year too. Michigan, OU, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, Arkansas and ATM could all be tough games.

    Going to be interesting how it unfolds. Just thinking about football is only part of the solution. Throw in all other collegiate athletics and that complicates things a lot.

    I hear ya Gerry I’m really hoping maybe a new face with a different approach will help Collins find his next gear. Sometimes that’s all it takes.

    I’m interested to see who on the current roster will benefit the most from Coach Baker. I believe his strength is pass rush so my initial guess is Burke. But would coach Baker be able to get someone like Alfred Collins to find another much needed gear? Thoughts?

    Good stuff! Did he give any indication how Sark would use him? Guessing that will need to be cleared before he gets too far into this.
