    I hear ya even though the SEC baseball schedule might be tough Pierce has the Horns baseball program in a good place. He brought back a key piece of his staff from 2-3 years ago in Troy Tulowitzki and David Pierce can coach. I’m pretty excited about heading into the SEC as long as he can keep his staff and bring in another top 5 recruiting class for 2025.

    My wild guess is C- Schuessler/Galvan 1-Luke Storm 2- Jack O’Dowd SS- Jalen Flores 3- Peyton Powell LF- Porter Brown CF- Jarred Thomas?? RF- Will Gasparino/Casey Cummings?? It’s tough because there’s a lot of last year’s freshman class talent that I would except needs to see the field like Jayden Duplantier, Cam Constantine, Max Belyeu, etc. I think coach nailed it when he mentioned depth as a strength.

    Thanks guys love it! Longhorn football is my first love but sure do enjoy watching the Horns play baseball. Big fan of coach Pierce. I would love to see Duplantier get over his mental hump and have a breakout year. Also looking forward to seeing the improvement of players like Cody Howard (aka Agent Cody Banks). I liked his moxy last season.

    If Michigan promotes Moore not sure we see a lot of roster fall out.

    Bummer. I do feel like Texas will have another solid season on the diamond. They already have their weekend starting pitching set with Witt, LBJ and Hurley. I expect to see improvement in both their defense and batting with Tulo back. If all goes well Texas should have a lot of momentum to sign another top 5 class.

    It’s different times around the 40. Couple of years ago I would’ve been down for a couple of days if we lost a 5 star recruit. I won’t be that disappointed if he doesn’t sign.

    Guys if Harbaugh waits another week to announce he is leaving (which I think he will do) wouldn't that make the 30 day portal window for Michigan players to transfer mostly invalid since the window to enroll for the spring semester at other schools like Texas will be closed after Jan 30?

    The portal is awesome. I wasn't feeling too good about next season a month ago. Now it's looking solid.

    Could be the case. I think Harbaugh is leaving for the NFL and waiting until end of the month to announce so Michigan doesn’t have much choice but to hire Moore as HC and it will also be too late for players to enroll in many other schools at least for the spring semester to avoid a huge portal loss.

    Sark following Saban's footprint. Saban always had a bunch of analyst's on staff.

    Bobby seems like Sark is making sure he is getting the right man for the job as he always does. However seems like he's not putting as much emphasis on the DT position so far in the portal. Is that because it's hard to recruit a player without a D-line coach or because he feels better about the current DT's in the room than he does about other positions? What are your thoughts?
