    Question for all, My girls were not able to get any autographs from the Texas team before or after the games yesterday. We are staying across the street from where they are staying (I’m not going to name the spot) and I was thinking about trying to go over there for breakfast or something and “run into them” if we get lucky. Before I do that, I wanted to run it by the board and make sure that’s not a bad look. They aren’t playing tomorrow and obviously there’s a chance we don’t run into any of them but if so I don’t want to be THAT guy. My girls are just massively excited about being in OKC and just want to get some stuff signed if possible.

    Driving to OKC now. Daughter is playing in tournament starting Friday so we had to make sure to be there for Thursday’s games. First time she will be able to watch the Horns live so it’s going to be pretty exciting. I will probably need some tips and advice since it’s our first time. Haven’t even bought tickets yet!

    Oh trust me. I get into breaks. That’s how I got a couple of good Schaefer hockey cards today. I watched some of the Bowman 26 breaks today but my luck on those is usually terrible. I’ve seen some freaking monsters pulled before. Typically I spend most of my day watching auctions and breaks on WhatNot if I’m not super busy at the office.

    I legit think I have over 10,000 Bowman’s coming. Found an auction site that sales boxes of like 400 each and I’ve bought somewhere around 25-30 at around $10 apiece. Some boxes will have football and Topps chrome and sometimes even better stuff but if I can land a solid # of McGonigle and Griffin’s I’ll come out way ahead. And that’s just those two guys from 24 and 25. Some might have 23 or other years. Won’t know until I get them Friday. They look like this:

    I’ve nearly pulled the trigger on that a few times. Kinda went crazy buying this past week or two so gonna have to sale some of what I’ve had come in before I get more.

    I will post some pics when I get home tonight. Daughter is big into hockey and pulled a Matthew Schaefer Young Gun a couple of weekends ago and I got a Schaefer orange dazzler today. Already had a Celebrini Young Gun. I mostly grab Bowman 1st baseball cards and have a bunch of those in chrome and have about 8-10k coming in the paper form by the end of the week. Should have quite a few McGonigle and Griffin 1sts among them. I will buy random Texas Longhorn stuff when it comes up. Got some good ones recently. Just got a Skenes Chrome 1st that I’m pretty excited about. I’ll post a bunch of pics tonight.

    It definitely caught all the LSU people who follow women's basketball around here by surprise. They went from gushing about Caroline Bradley to being like "WTF??!?!"

    This was how we ended up. Got lucky that the branches that fell on the house only appear to have done cosmetic damage.

    We got as much as 6+ inches of ice around the Monroe area. I haven’t had power since Friday around 2. Hoping to get it back by end of this week. Luckily I don’t have very much damage. Tree limbs fell on the side and did some minor stuff but nothing like some of my friends had happen where a tree fell into their living room. One buddy had to call 911 because he was trapped.
