    Yep. Georgia, and even programs like Auburn, LSU, and such have nice DT classes because of $$$. SEC programs know you must be willing to pay a premium for the best HS DT recruits. Location helps too but these kids want the bag more than anything.

    If Texas doesn't change their philosophy for NIL $$$ allocated to DT recruiting, they will continue to struggle to attract DTs for years to come and will miss their championship window. Good DTs are expensive even at the HS level. More expensive to find them from the portal. Kenny Baker seems like he will be a home run hire, but he's not a miracle worker. Gotta capitalize on this window and not leave meat on the bone.

    I'd love to see Owens play meaningful snaps at Texas, but I think he's gonna take the Maalik Murphy route, get experience in Sark's system, then transfer in 2026. 2025 is a big year for Owens as well. Always be ready because you never know.

    Yeah it depends on what he values more at that point in his life. Soaking up the college experience or getting enough games under your belt to appease NFL GMs then bounce? I doubt money will be his main motivation in his decision.

    Assuming no major injuries, Manning will play at least two seasons, then Lacey and Bell can duke it out for the starting spot once Manning goes pro. Not worried about QB after this season as long as Sark is the HC.

    There will be a bye week before OU and they will balance out the home and away schedule for conference play. That’s what this is showing.

    And the scary thing about the defense is there's still room for improvement. Situationally and against the run, if those things get cleaned up, you won't be able to move the ball against Texas. Glad PK doesn't want to be a HC because top 10 defenses are here to stay at the 40.

    I wish Cook the best. Sometimes things don't work out at your first stop. Doesn't mean he's a bad player. I have no ill will towards the guy. He will be a baller for one of the other 133 teams in the FBS wherever he ends up.

    Eh Mahomes ain’t doing too hot rn. But I get what you’re saying. Under Bienemy, Mahomes was insane. PK is like Spags. Carrying the team on his back with this elite defense.

    Kelly can say he had a Heisman winning QB in year two and he beat a Saban led Bama in year one but that’s about it. Riley and Kelly are proof that the Heisman Trophy doesn’t have the same meaning it used to.

    Not worried about recruiting unless Texas loses to A&M. Just keep winning and the recruits that want to be here will be here. Sell winning, good culture, and player development over everything.
