    Quinn Ewers meant more to the program as an "it factor" than anything else. He was a solid QB, but when he came back to Texas, it became an "exponentially cool" place for big recruits again. Arch has some of the same gravitas. We were floundering for years on being an "IT" place to land. For those of us that remember surviving on what we could get, versus what we wanted and needed. The Mack Brown era brought in the dudes, but there was a decade or so where oklahoma and a&m got the better of us in recruiting.

    1. Smoked Sausage Links - there are so many varieties. Elgin, Lockhart, Luling, Llano all have great ones, but if you are ever passing through Giddings, you will be hard pressed to beat City Meat Market. 2. Jalepeño Poppers - filled with cream cheese, pimento cheese or pan sausage!

    Maybe he was elected as Trey Zuhn's replacement to make idiotic hate quotes 3 months in advance. If our QB was making comments about a game 11 weeks away, I'd be embarrassed!

    My FAVORITE aggie for sure! I hope he stays another year!!! In all seriousness, you have to wonder about his season long health... lightweight QB with an unproven O-Line. Imagine if Arch weighed 185 pounds, he wouldn't have survived the Florida game last year. I know way too many aggies, and they are all living in Pipe Dream City!

    The floodgates on this could really be bad in the newly formed pro Softball League and WNBA, where entry level pros make a fraction of their old NIL levels. Canady signed for peanuts vs her Tech cash.

    Totally agree that competition should lead to position leaders. I also understand that getting through a "personal issue" is in fact that, personal. People outside of his situation "fine tooth combing" it just makes it harder for the young man to get to the other side of it. Just being a positive fan.
