    We need our current wins to keep holding weight. Root for Ohio State, Tennesse, UTSA & Texas State to keep on winning. Texas State plays San Diego State this weekend, and it seems like the SDSU team has had a Mumps outbreak. Like a large fraction of the team is out with the Mumps. Makes me think of the different ways to go out on The Oregon Trail!

    I love being a fan of this team. I also know my resumè would not be accepted to take any coach's job & I am not capable of trying out for a single position on this team. Not even Holder! we can be the problem with "the pressure" these young men feel.

    What I truly appreciate about this group: the younger journalists are mature. CJ & Hank are guys you could drink a beer with. They dont wear their hats backwards and pull a "Bro Show", trying to pimp out their seasoning package!! It is a compliment more than a slam.

    Quinn Ewers meant more to the program as an "it factor" than anything else. He was a solid QB, but when he came back to Texas, it became an "exponentially cool" place for big recruits again. Arch has some of the same gravitas. We were floundering for years on being an "IT" place to land. For those of us that remember surviving on what we could get, versus what we wanted and needed. The Mack Brown era brought in the dudes, but there was a decade or so where oklahoma and a&m got the better of us in recruiting.
