  1. Week 3 of College Football and ATT/Direct TV still haven't resolved their carriage dispute.
  2. ...and this is the third one that's not just a ding, but losing consciousness (while on TV).
  3. ...and also Loveland clearly steps out of bounds and then makes the 3rd down reception at 9:31 in the 3rd quarter. Has the rule changed? I don't think he was forced out, but it least merited discussion on the broadcast.
  4. also, Michigan destroyed our RB screen game. They got our RBs on the ground before they could even get in their lane.
  5. For anyone that has tuned out with the early season losses, we're still ranked in top 10. 🤘
  6. Yeah, he complained about that in his postgame presser in 2022 (in a very Piney Woods, damning-with-faint-praise manner).
  7. UTSA would be favored by ~ 4pts against CSU on a neutral field. http://sagarin.com/sports/cfsend.htm
  8. Biggest game in program history and their stadium (30,000 capacity) is maybe 2/3 full? I thought they would sell this one out.
  9. That missed FG probably would have been blocked if was down the middle. UM had a guy screaming off the edge. The pass rush is there, just still waiting on the sacks.
  10. Damn. Saw him make some plays and heard his name, but had no idea his stat line looked like that....🤘
  11. OTF killed it this weekend, but wanted to give CJ some special mention. From the owning the airport story and providing some needed levity for my pre-game jitters, to his pre-game and post-game coverage to almost nailing the score (I laughed when I heard his prediction), CJ killed it. Hook 'em, CJ 🤘
  12. The static images of formations are a great addition. I'd pay a sub to see Rod and Tony Hills on a "Talking Ball" or "Rewatch" series. 🤘
  13. Local forecast is now 98 and humid for Sat.
  14. Ha! I heard that, too. Being on the west side of Francine is going to make for another uncomfortable Sat afternoon on Bevo Blvd. Fortunately, it's a 6:30 kick.
  15. Wondering if a very few boosters have an oustsized influence on the athletic department in Lubbock. Seems like they might not be navigating the NIL era as well as some thought. I slept through a 1/3 of the their game last night, but Morton looked bad during the time I was awake.
  16. Sagarin's model says Aggies favored by 3 @ UF. 🤷‍♂️
  17. The models are pretty much meaningless after only 2 weeks of input. Having said that, Sagarin's model has Texas at #2 and would be a 2pt favorite vs UGA in Austin (again, after only 2 weeks of data). http://sagarin.com/sports/cfsend.htm I used Sagarin's model to win a few college football pools against the line with a winning percentage of barely 50%. He's been doing this for almost 30 years. I've been following since 1998 when his model favored us against A&M. Again, the models are pretty much meaningless after 2 weeks. 😎🤘
  18. complEmentary 🤦‍♂️
  19. Is it possible to win with defense in 2024? Michigan did last year, but OU's offense isn't playing complimentary football. I know they ran that formula to a National Championship in 1999, but not sure Venables can win 8 games in 2024. I guess we'll find out on 9/21.
  20. Wasn't Tennessee neutral site? At any rate, none of the coaches watched the games, nor did their SIDs.
  21. 🤘
  22. Exactly. We'll see if Ward can put it together for a season. Napier and staff can't find their ass with two hands.
  23. I have a hard time believing UF can't buy Napier out. It's just a negotiating strategy for the donors scheming to buy him out. Same for Norvell.
