  1. I just lost any respect I ever had for Ross Dellenger. He has Indiana and BYU ranked ahead of Texas. I don't know if he really thinks this or it's just a media nonsense thing, but either way it's nuts. They need to take his card from him.
  2. Good stuff. Let's be honest, if we beat the idiot Aggies, we should at least make the semi-finals.
  3. Unfortunately, sentiment in Norman is building to replace Warden Venables.
  4. The criminal sooner v. Mizzou game is featuring the worst combined QB play I've ever seen. These guys can't complete a five yard pass.
  5. There wasn't a guarantee that he would be back next year, just that he's the guy "going forward." Sounds like a statement made for recruiting this year. That said, unless they simply collapse in November, they're probably better with Napier unless they have a sure thing lined up, and there are very, very few sure things.
  6. Praying for the family.
  7. I listened to some Liucci today because I figured he'd get around to playing off their butt whipping at South Carolina by saying they're still looking good for Texas. Sure enough, he did.
  8. We need to start recruiting at least one big RB each class now that we're in the SEC. We don't have the beef at RB to consistently run against big boys. We better take a couple of bruisers in the portal this year if we want to win a title with Arch the next couple of years.
  9. Aggies aren't the standard. Title contention is the standard. We should handle the Aggies. Even if we do, that won't equal a nice run in the playoff. The fact that we don't know if we can handle the pressure is disconcerting.
  10. Georgia's level ain't that great. Beck's a chump. Apparently, no one else is that great either. Quinn doesn't seem like he's ready to handle big time pressure. You need consistent fundamentals at the QB position unless you're an exceptional athlete that can throw when necessary.
  11. Probably beat A&M no matter what, but they're about the twentieth best team in the country. Georgia smoked us and we know they're not really that great. Kirby's a big mouth that runs an outlaw program. Should have been ready for that.
  12. True, but you can't just throw Arch in for the last game of the season and expect clean play against that kind of pressure. If the switch is made, it needs to be this week to give him time to get up to speed. I really think our only shot to advance in the playoff is with Arch, but Sark hasn't shown the inclination to make that call.
  13. The A&M pass rush could give Quinn real problems. He's not shrugging off tacklers the way Sellers did. The outside zone killed the Aggies, but we don't have a 230lb bruiser like Sanders. Conversely, the Longhorns have the receivers to torch the Aggies if we can protect. Also, can't see Reed doing much against the Texas defense.
  14. Beck is making Jackson Arnold look like a ball security QB.
  15. East Europe. Cold War. Austria 1985.
  16. No kidding. We need the same scenario of fines for the refs.
  17. We'll see what the Aggies do when the other team prepares for the QB. Both of the "big" wins for the Aggies have come by surprising the opponent with a QB switch. Neither Reed nor Weigman are good when the defense game plans against them. It's very unlikely Reed runs wild against Texas.
  18. Sark needs to switch to Arch if he wants to win the title.
  19. With the Utes tanking this season, is there a chance the Longhorns circle back on some of their Texas recruits?
  20. Texas has depth on the line too. Not guaranteed to be as good next year, but they shouldn't fall of a cliff.
  21. The Texas O-line is lightyears ahead of the criminal O-line. Penalties are a problem, not complete lack of talent.
  22. C'mon guys. Quinn was pretty good. The truth is that at least half of the holding calls on Texas were head scratching. That's probably ten points. My guess is that Texas will be sending film to the SEC of Vandy doing the same thing and not getting called. Still should have won by more, but you take the win and get back to work.
  23. Like I said, he does play to his main audience. If you watch his videos before the game, however, he was pretty strong on Texas. In fact, he said the only reason he was picking Georgia was because he didn't want to get the fan base blowback.
  24. Brooks Austin isn't a pure Georgia homer. He plays to his market, but when he's doing film breakdowns, he explains what's happening from a football perspective. Sark's lack of adjustment until half time is head scratching. It's like he couldn't accept that the Georgia defense was more than ready for his plan. Now, I'm sure he was thinking he couldn't just change and complicate things because both the o-line and Quinn weren't picking things up, but that goes back to the fact that the original plan wasn't very good.
