    Overall I would say yes but we need to see what will be added and taken away possibly from the teams we play. We were undefeated at home this year and so I feel like we'll keep that same energy going into next year as well. I think the games at Tennessee and Missouri could be tough but nothing on the level of a Georgia or Alabama. I don't think LSU can rattle us enough in their house next year to make a difference. College Station mmm been there...done that. I won't give a record but I like our chances of getting back to the CFP should we miss out on it this year

    Interesting, seeing as Kiffin is not taking his DC with him to Baton Rouge. I wonder if Anderson knows who the new DC will be and is cool with that. If not I bet he'll be in the portal within a year.

    I think tough non conference opponent game like Ohio St should be on a year to year basis until we get to 16 CFP teams. So I would absolutely cancel or reschedule the Ohio State game to another year when we think the CFP will be at 16 teams. Just my opinion

    I agree with you, just sucks. Like I said on another post I want this to burn in our hearts and minds. I mean that as a collective because we are all one team. Fans, coaches, players, etc. Just want the necessary changes to be made for next year so that we don't feel this again. I will never be done with this team. Like you said it's a chapter in the long history of this team. Some chapters are better than others so let's hope next year's chapter is better than this year's. Love this team and especially everyone in the OTF family.

    Sucks but we did it to ourselves. We had opportunities to right the ship but we kept coming up short. If we don't make it, which I think most Texas fans would agree with, I hope this season stings and burns in the minds and hearts of the coaches, players, fans, etc. Not being malicious but I just want them to make the necessary changes for next year. Whatever that may be so that fans, players, coaches, etc won't feel this again next year.

    I was always worried about this. I think Kiffin at LSU is more of a problem than Kiffin at Florida.

    He's quickly becoming a Shoot-out legend. A total of 35 carries, 212 yards (6 yards per carry) and 1 TD rushing. 9 catches for 46 yards and 0 TD's receiving. Nothing earth shattering but he is the steady water that seems to carry our boat safely to a win. Most importantly he's 2-0 in the RRR (crap name). ou SUCKS!!!!!!

    Yes they did, Heath took their foot of the gas in the second half like they've done at times this year and let North Forney back in. First time I've seen Legend Bey play. He's legit and committed to Tennessee. Prosper Neal for Heath also played well. Feel like he doesn't get enough love but nevertheless. Heck of a game, 😁

    56-55 in a helluva game. I hate that I had to leave at halftime but watched the rest on the RISD network. GO HAWKS!!!!!

    This team needs to use James Simon against OU if Baxter is going to be out. It's all hands on deck and I have a feeling he could have a BIG game on Saturday like so many freshman have in this rivalry .

    Really you think after tonight? That game was in the swamp. I don't know if I'm too concerned about that game in a few weeks. I think less now than I was before the season started. We'll see though, that's why you gotta play the games. 😁🤘🤘

    Heath completed the upset in University Park 52-49 in a barnburner of a game. Great game by both teams.

    Man that's a tough choice I'm gonna have to think on it. I like closer so Duncanville/SOC might be better but North Crowley/DeSoto would be amazing as well. Here's another question, whichever game I go to who's side to I sit on? Or do I just pick a side and I win either way?

    Anyone know of any games that would be good to check out in a couple of weeks or have a website that lists the games for the above week? Again, @Gerry Hamilton may know more than anyone about this but I thought I would ask.😁🤘
