  1. Past hour
  2. Looks like you were wrong, @Bobby Burton—Joey the Mouth did call GJ Kinne:
  3. USC is looking for a 27-28 partner
  4. Spears is definitely not as talented as boozer or Dybansta but I think he can still be really good in college
  5. Gerry, do u think we are going to go all in on Marcus spears or wait out and see who is likely entering the draft from our team?
  6. I assume ND is what Tech is referencing. Then, they’ll pull the “Texas was scared to play ND, but we (Tech) are happy to schedule the home-and-home with the Irish”.
  7. Nansen has been terrible all year for years. I never piss over recruiting. My posting history on the subject is well documented.
  8. All-Time Classic! CaddyShack
  9. It doesn’t matter who we are playing, I always want to win. But a victory against Texas Tech would be a little sweeter than a victory against Temple.
  10. Again, I get what you're saying because the game has changed. But we were able to settle for Siani instead of splurging for Seaton because we had a high school recruit Goosby. Who followed a high school recruit Kelvin.
  11. If I moved from Newport Beach to Lubbock … I would hit the portal too after a few months
  12. He hit 96mph from the mound in HS. https://www.perfectgame.org/Players/PlayerProfile.aspx?ID=403200
  13. Marcus Spears Jr out in LA working with Isaiah Johnson’s dad
  14. And the yearly summer whining begins
  15. Jordan seaton is the ceiling, Not the floor. We don’t need a 1st round pick every year out of the portal. Premium positions definitely need to be developed, But you’re naive if you think these five star kids will be patient if another schools offers them more money to come and start.
  16. Agree him and flood are big wink links
  17. Finney's father is a longtime HSFB coach in the St. Louis area who's now in the Houston area. They moved to Houston at some point in the last few years. Finney coached and call plays (he was OC) for Nick Townsend at Dekaney for a while and was at St. Pius X last year as their OC last year. I believe he left St. Pius X to take a job on the Willis staff this spring but I'm not 100% sure on that. Finney also does some training on the side and trained Ryan Wingo when he was coming up in St. Louis. Wingo has since trained in Houston with Finney. Trey was at Dekaney and played on varsity as a freshman during Nick Townsend's senior year. Trey then followed his father to St. Pius X where he played his sophomore year but is now at Willis after transferring up north this spring. Willis has arguably the best offensive mind in TXHSFB in Trent Miller and I can't wait to see what he does with Trey. He's undersized at 5-9, 165 but is a great player. It'll be interesting to see who emerges as contenders with all of his dad's longtime connections to college staffs all across the country.
  18. #fireflood @Joe Zura 🦆
  19. I hope we stay on him. Like you wrote, his athletic upside is tremendous. I hope the staff is not pinning its hopes for a 2 OT class on Camara. He is dragging out his process and it seems like another giant wallet whip from uncle Phil and Oregon is where it will end.
  20. Today
  21. Still waiting to hear confirmation the visit is off the books but as Bobby said I'd view it as doubtful the trip goes through.
