  1. Past hour
  2. So guess we have to wait on the new WBB player from Australia to see if she qualifies under these new circumstances . I assume it is okay, but who knows anymore . Everyday is an adventure for sure .
  3. I would assume anyone falling under these rules/circumstances would have to apply for approval from SEC to,play this year??
  4. We are playing the team he is committed too. That said, always like getting guys to Austin and the campus!
  5. “Coach (Will) Muschamp and coach (LaAllan) Clark have kept contact with me since I committed. They haven’t broken it. Even though I’m committed, that shows a lot of love from their side so it’s only right I go show them love, too." https://www.elevenwarriors.com/skull-sessions/2026/08/163453/skull-session-ryan-day-shows-personality-at-monday-presser-marcus-fakatou-schedules-visit-for-ohio-state-texas-game
  6. Ok…… Cool……… Hookem……….
  7. All this makes my head hurt, lol! With that being said, pretty sure it doesn't matter if it's a foreign league or not. If a player has signed / played professionally. That player is therefore ruled ineligible by the SEC. Been wrong more times I can count and may be again with this one. From what the SEC has put out this falls directly in conflict with those rules about former professional players coming back or attempting to play college sports after going pro.
  8. Everybody finishes second that doesn't finish first when you think about it. But if Texas wasn't second they were third, so not a huge drop off. He even admitted Texas wasn't in his top eight before the April visit, so they've made a big jump for him regardless over the last 4-5 months.
  9. Yes he's already taken his OV. Fakatou probably has no shortage of dimes though. Cali HS kids can earn NIL.
  10. There was a video circulating recently where Fakatou was basically saying if he didn’t commit to Ohio state it would have been Georgia
  11. It didn’t help that Wisner and Baxiter never being fully healthy and I don’t think Gibson leaving mid-season made it any better
  12. apparently on HIS DIME? right?
  13. A source close to the Ohio State commit Marcus Fakatou tells OTF that the five-star defensive lineman intends on visiting Texas for the Ohio State game on Sept. 12. This will mark Fakatou's second game visit at DKR after taking in Texas-Texas A&M last November. He returned in April and then again for an official visit in June. Recruit through the whistle...
  14. If it’s a foreign league, that might not count.
  15. The wave may be over.
  16. OL until proven otherwise after last year
  17. Uhhhh is this legal? She’s a baller in the WNBL but didn’t the sec just pass a rule……
  18. Great first post. Welcome aboard! 🤘
  19. Thanks for this update, Bobby. The expansion into volleyball, softball, and baseball makes it clear this rule is intended to define amateur eligibility across multiple sports, not just address a football loophole. Sounds like a straightforward signal: the SEC intends to keep former professionals out across the board, and Sankey now has the authority to enforce that without waiting on NCAA committees. Someone needs to tell these ex‑pros, “Go play in your local rec league if you’re bored - you’re not turning college sports into your comeback tour." GO SANKEY
  20. Call me crazy but i don’t think a single position group truly “worries” me. We have dogs at every position and great coaching everywhere. If i have a worry for the year it’s the ability to live up to the expectations and possibilities this team can have. Having all the tools to be a championship is great. But it’s how to the team answers every challenge and if they can handle the pressure.
  21. Today
  22. I listened to that game on the radio in my off campus room a few blocks from Rice Stadium. After what UT had done to Rice - my first ever trip to Austin was to see that game - I actually thought Texas was the best team that could possibly exist. So I was shocked by Kern Tips exploding with the Gibbs to Iles TD. Before Raymond Clayborn, Eric Metcalf, Nathan Vasher, or Ryan Niblett I would have said Saxton was the most exciting return man I had seen in burnt orange.
  23. Castellanos to Tech.
  24. Turns out it’s Perez lol. Coach introduced him as Lopez
