Collin Simmons and his "Urinating on the field" simulation is the first taunting / celebration penalty I can think of since 1990 (or maybe 1989) During the OU game, Shane Dronette sacked the sooner QB and simulated digging a grave with an imaginary shovel. Flag comes out and first down sooners.. My favorite one from recent memory was the guy from Mississippi that crawled like a dog and raised his leg to mark his territory. I hope this doesn't ever happen again, but it will probably around the year 2043

I have two ARDs myself.

I for one would like quicker developing plays, and some easy access routes baked into the offense that isn't a screen. Also need more Bishop, he could be used like Miami did Toney early last year then expand.

I had Maraad Watson ahead of Kanu. just because he was as disruptive with less snaps.

Oklahoma’s offensive line room should be VERY concerned. They can’t run the ball coupled with what we just did to UT lite.

Find a consistent early-down offensive identity. Texas needs more first- and second-down success so the offense isn’t constantly living in obvious passing situations. Create more explosive plays in the passing game. Use the bye to identify the concepts, personnel groupings, and pass protection that can produce chunk plays more consistently. Get Jermaine Bishop more involved. He’s flashed enough to warrant more opportunities. Give him more designed touches and chances to use his speed in space. Make the run game more efficient snap-to-snap. Not necessarily more carries, just fewer wasted downs and more dependable gains that keep the offense on schedule. Keep expanding the defensive pressure package. The pass rush is becoming a real strength. Add more stunts, simulated pressures and disguises without changing what’s already working.

Haven’t been to game since 2015 when we moved OOS ending 1970-2015 streak. ( been to one game KSU 2023 for celebration of life for my youngest brother also a Texas grad. Die from parkinson and dementia). Will be the MSU game year.

I haven’t gone back and rewatched it, but in real time it sure looked to me like Arch didn’t get the play off in time on our last touchdown. That could have been a catastrophic error. Another Arch awareness gaffe which didn’t end up costing us in the end.

Hopefully the fans haven’t forgotten about Benedict Livingstone and let him hear it. Pretty easy to forget considering he’s been non existent for OU…

This guy most definitely sucks

This team was really bad last year after the 2 bye weeks. Staff needs to make sure they’re focused and fix the issues as anything can happen at Red River

2nd and 7 screenshot below. “Nice try though.” Hill is a coverage guy. His NFL team has him in coverage 90% of the time. He rushed the passer up to 10% higher last ear at Texas than the previous year. He’s a 2nd level rusher not a best you 1 on 1. Biles rushed the passer 10% of pass plays, Cryer was 5%. Versus Tennessee. Hill was at 25% for the season. But sure stick to the guns that he was deployed improperly or that Will does things drastically different. All the material interior defensive guys are back. Simmons back. Jackson, Zina. Littleton more experienced. Jelani more experienced. Williams healthier. Kade more experienced. LBs may be down but not much. You lose Hill, Taaffe, Burke, Guilbeau, Moore. You add Geffrard, Biles, Mascoe, Cryer. Nevermind Hill, Taafe missed 2 games each. Yes, this defense was likely better with no change. Where are you getting the blitz rate? I’m curious about that but struggle to find good info. You guys soil yourself about such things that aren’t really material then call guys off 15 yards a “prevent” defense to justify how it’s different. You may not have complained about that specific thing, but I’ve read quite a few complaints about such a thing in previous years.
