This David Punch guy is pretty good… -

Been expecting this to happen since mid week.

Yes, one if the mods posted an update about it yesterday. Shouldn’t be an issue, my understanding is that he may end up at IMG
-
Been seeing some articles popping up that he’s been ruled ineligible. Is that real news?

You are wrong and that’s OK. The AG’s job is to represent the state in legal matters. Texas Tech is being pressured by the Big 12 to ignore a judge’s ruling. You try ignoring a judge’s ruling in your life and report back here.

Great interview, I wished Bobby could have asked why Wilner thinks the Big 12 wouldn't use the nuclear option on Texas Tech. - Today

100%. The resume, particularly 2022-present, speaks for itself. Arguably the best program/HC in the game or 1B at worst depending on how y’all feel about OU/Gasso.
-
That was such an informative interview with Jon. Excellent work as usual Bobby! Texas Tech is an absolute disgrace.

We benefitted from Laly finding her control and peaking when we needed it. We HAVE to have someone that can eat up innings and win games in a WCWS three game series.

25-26 Director's Cup Thread

@GoHorns1 @DirectorsCupUpdates many thanks to both of yall for the many updates and tracking. It’s been enjoyable. -
Coach knows a little something about that. Is it natural or can a coach or mentor pull it out of a player? Which handful of players do you see have the biggest heart? Secondly which freshman do you believe on the practice field will show the biggest heart and the most desire to get better and have a chance to play sooner than later? Thanks

Two ESPN writers, Matt Miller and Jordan Reid, project their top 5 picks at each position in the '27 draft. Meaningless but kind of interesting, just to see where our guys rank. A couple of surprises. We have players projected # 1 or # 2 at the following positions - QB, WR, OT, OG, EDGE, LB Players projected at 3-5 at these positions: RB, WR2, S No one in Top 5 at these positions: TE, C, DT, CB Article link

I'm pretty sure he knows what he is doing

Not if that want to 3 peat it's not. They need more experience. Torres and an experienced arm.
-
No it isn't. The job description is to uphold the law. There's no law in the state of Texas that says college athletes can gamble on their own team. You're very confused.
-
Some SEC teams carry 6-8 pitchers. Texas had five last year. Right now Texas has four pitchers and one isn’t even on campus yet. As of today it’s Teagan and three very raw, young arms. Teagan absolutely needs help.

omg....that is literally the job description of the State Attorney General. He is defending Texas Tech, a state entity that is abiding by a court order, against the Big 12. The Big 12 is demanding that a state university violate a court order. This has nothing to do with being a Democrat or a Republican or a Longhorn or Red Raider. This has everything to do with the (in my view) terrible ruling by the judge. Paxton is simply doing his job, but apparently most here are too biased to see the obvious.
