  1. Past hour
  2. My perspective is Vince Young was a once in a lifetime athlete with flaws that needed special treatment to reach his potential, thankfully Mack recognized this and changed the way he normally handled players which allowed Vince to become the superstar “VY” in college. If Jeff Fisher had been as wise as Mack instead of being stubborn and set in his ways there is no telling how good Vince could have been in the NFL.
  3. There was a private screening of it last night at the River Oaks Theater in Houston. VY showed up and did a Q&A. Hope that video gets shared.
  4. It’s pretty clear to me I need to familiarize myself more with the TE and backup OL #s lol. Fun game though! Idk how yall are scoring a 9.0+ on the faces game I thought I was quick but keep getting a high 8.
  5. Honorable mention to Marty Akins.
  6. Great story. Reminds me of what I told my boy when he finished his Masters. I want 3 things for you: 1. Be happy and healthy 2. Be a productive member of society 3. Be self sufficient. Not necessarily in that order..
  7. Back at No. 1 on all three. But who the hell is LonghornRagan? Props to them It took me several tries on all three categories to get back to the No. 1 spot
  8. That’s awesome ! 🤘🏻
  9. I was at the game but I don’t remember the weather being bad. He got knocked out on a punt return I think. Holy cow that was 65 years ago. I am old.
  10. Today
  11. No ticket or RSVP needed just show up!
  12. The obvious choice is VY but let’s not forget Mr. Peter Gardere, or 4-0 vs OU!
  13. Awesome story!! That has to be the best feeling as a parent! Congrats to your daughter on the internship as well🤘
  14. Amazing, thanks for sharing!!! Congrats to you and your daughter!
  15. My daughter graduated from UT a couple of years ago. She’s finishing up grad school and is starting an internship. I got this text from her earlier this morning… “This is my first time since high school where I’m consistently getting up early in the morning. I love ontexasfootball while I get ready. I feel like you” I want to thank Bobby and all of the OnTexas team for making the best Texas content out there. Seems we have a little family tradition going feeding our Longhorn fandom. Hook’ em!
  16. Agree with the top 25 in College football, but top 5 in College sports as a whole. He has done a great job of selling the Texas brand and communicating the expectations via coaches and staff. The DEMAND to reach for excellence both on and off the field.
  17. Saxton was my first Longhorn hero. My first Longhorn jersey was #10.
  18. I remember when Saxton got knocked out with a knee to the helmet against TCU. I believe the final was 6-0 TCU and if I remember correctly, the weather was horrendous.

  20. Man I went to my first game in 1961 as a six year old and this guy was amazing…..
  21. whats wild is, people will bash Arch so bad for last season. When he had like 400 less total yards and 1 less total tud than Vince in a national championship year. lmao
  22. My dad came home early to watch the pregame with me for the game. We watched all of the post game together and then around 2AM they started rerunning the game on TV and we watched it all again. Top 3 memories of just me and my dad up late trying to be quiet but 4th and 5 makes it impossible.
