81 Days Until Kickoff: Who Was The Best No. 81?

Who? Mike Jonesssss -
After eliminating Alabama in yesterday’s 14-2 rout in Omaha, Texas gets another crack at Georgia with the season on the line. The Longhorns suffered a 7-1 loss to the Bulldogs in their CWS opener on Saturday, but Adrian Rodriguez hit for the cycle and Ruger Riojas had six solid innings on the mound to get Texas (46-14) to today’s elimination game against Georgia (52-13), which lost its winner’s bracket game against Oklahoma on Monday, 4-3.

Worst possible placement. I’d rather nothing be there, but the longhorn would at least look better than that. They were either told to move it there or plan on putting a sponsor on the other side imo, because it’s completely uneven now

Relax ladies, it was just a question.
-
That looks awful. Hated when they had the horns there too

It appears there has been a change on the Texas jersey for the 2026 season. The SEC logo moves to the middle of the jersey from the right pec area. I reached out to Texas last night to confirm plans for a corporate jersey sponsor to which the school said they were unaware of plans.

Savoie to ATM. That sucks.

Brendan Sorsby to Enter NFL Supplemental Draft
WRNC replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
If Texas Tech had formally argued that Sorsby breached his contract, it would completely destroy their own legal defense against the Big 12 and the NCAA. Texas Tech chose to waive its right to a clawback or liquidated damages because trying to collect that money would be an immediate, self-defeating "slip on its own face". -
Caleb Siler commits to Northwestern

Maybe Brent Musburger was enough to convince him that Northwestern was the right place for him… -

Some good ones at 81, but Pat Fitzgerald for me. We wouldn't have gotten to fourth down in St Louis if not for a ridiculous one handed catch he made. As an aside, James Brown's escape from the pass rush in the end zone was ridiculous also - just an other worldly play. - Today

There’s a tight end who wasn’t mentioned. I heard that you can call him and get it straightened out. The phone number is 281-330-8004. -

This board would melt down if we were landing the type of players they were. OU recently landed a backup INF from A&M and middle reliever from UTA. They are playing in a different sandbox than the type of guys Texas is trying to get. -

Brendan Sorsby to Enter NFL Supplemental Draft
Sanka Decaf replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Just read the article on ESPN explaining the supplemental draft process. Really interesting process. Essentially, a team uses a draft pick it would have had in next year’s draft if they are the highest “bidder”. It would be surprising to see someone use a first round pick on him in this supplemental draft. Next year will likely have some good QBs in the draft. But also seems that someone can risk low draft capital and get him if they want. Sounds like, if he goes into that supplemental draft, he’s likely to get someone who will at least give up a late round pick. That’s what it seems like to me. -
Brendan Sorsby to Enter NFL Supplemental Draft

Im not talking about a simple DL check like for a job at Amazon. Surely a team will snoop around a $5+ Mil potential signee to see if he has some skeletons in the closet. 9,000 bets, $90K, at 2 schools….and no one had any idea he had a problem? I’m not buying that. -

Yep. Sad part for tech fans - sorsby comes in, poops the bed, takes off, and they have to deal with the stink.
