His quote about retention being priority #1 should be pinned on the OTF board forever: ”what’s going to be more upsetting, losing a HS recruit or letting Arch Manning walk out the door?” -

First time in Memorial Stadium I played in the gravel track around the field. During the game. I wasn't really paying attention but there was a Nobis kid wearing #60. Priorities are different when you're in 2nd grade. -

Texas could be coming out of DFW with a heist of defensive backs in 2027. -

I was at that game. Boy Scout selling seat backs. I snuck into the student section around the south 15 yard line and saw that catch from about row 25. Someone threw a full coke straight up in the air and it came down like the exploding lights in The Natural. Pretty sure I still have the game program. -

Trending Texas: In-state DB OnTexasFootball believes Dallas South Oak Cliff safety Isaiah Udom should be considered as "Trending Texas" entering the official visit process. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound rangy safety burst onto the recruiting scene this season, and has since picked up 18 offers. Texas' main competition is hometown SMU. OTF expects SMU to make this a very competitive close. Baylor is the third school with an OV on the books. Udom OV schedule: SMU June 5-7 Texas June 12-14 Baylor June 19-21

I don't want to get banned or make people upset, but I just learned that Kobe's favorite movie was Gladiator. He said "strength and honor" before every game after seeing that film on 7 May 2000, which coincides when he became the best player in the world at 21. - Today

This worth the listen! Congrats to Brandon and his wife on their first-born! Been holding that news for a while because, so happy it’s out there. The staff had a baby shower for them a few weeks ago and then they had the little one last week.

Not new but: from the hometown of James Street, Longview. First memory I have of our Horns was a game on TV , Cotton Bowl game against Roger Staubach and Navy. Many memories, what I feel sorry for the younger folk is their not getting to see Earl play in person. -

I’m an OG but O is old 🙂 Attended the Penn state game in Austin in 1989 and was hooked. Graduated in 2001. Have missed one home game in person since 1999. Bobby is the goat in this industry. Glad to be here.
