We can run the ball. This team is a downhill running team. No pulling or pinning just flat backs and run straight ahead. The defense is good enough that being that stubborn about the run will open things up eventually. It’s kind of going around your a$$ to get to your elbow. But leaning on teams and forcing the run and long drives has been part of a lot of the successful drives we’ve had look at TN and tOSU heck even against OU. They were dropping into coverage and if we had really stuck with the run knowing their offense couldn’t do jack against us we would’ve broken their spirit and kept the ball out of harm’s way better especially once we got ahead multiple scores.

I saw somewhere that there was a dual sport athlete for Women's bball and Softball considering Texas who's currently uncommitted but I can't find it again. Anyone happen to have knowledge?

Texas right now averaging 142.20 yards per game on the ground.

I like 11 personnel role Bishop and Mosley and run the ball a little more consistently with the physicality they ve shown when they had all the time the offense will be much better off, 10 personnel is fine in occasions but not 10+ plays a game

Either that or you plug in J Christian at C, J Coleman (when healthy) at RG, and see if you can run the rock this year.

Wow that's the first time I have seen the play since watching it live. I cannot believe we lined up like that. Venerables must have been laughing his rear off at his good fortune.

I responded fyi

We’ll deal with next year then. I fully agree that the problem needs to be addressed long term. Sark’s buyout drops to $27.5MM on 1/1/27, and will drop again in 2028. If he can’t fix it, give another coach a shot.

What a ridiculous response.

And where aRe you next year? masking a few games in hopes of winning this year isn’t solving the problem But I do get where people are coming from. Im beyond masking problems

Like Sark has said, if you want your fans cheering give them something to cheer about. Outside of defense there hasn’t been anything to cheer about.

Alignment problem not personal issue.

Exactly. This team can’t run block very well vs good SEC DLs. Arch likes to spread it out, Townsend is a good athlete, and we have plenty of talent at WR. This team is a long shot to win a conference or national championship, so play to your strengths to maximize your season.

Do you think 12 personnel struggling also has to do with WR’s and TE’s struggling to block consistently outside of Townsend and maybe Shannon both of them block violently which is needed.

Everyone else can rearrange the deck chairs Formations isnt the issue or a top 2 issue … when you get down to it

2019 LSU ran almost exclusively 11 but put Moss out wide . So while technically 11, he didn't do a whole lot of inline blocking

Might be interested - I'll DM you.

Most of the people I’ve seen have said more of it, not that it should be the majority of our offense.

major. its time

So quit crying and tell us you would hire if you want Sark fired?

Some of yall are funny. Ridiculous but funny. Brains, not balls, are required. Learning relationships, how to learn what you want to know by asking intelligently, maintaining healthy relationships so you’re not cut off, etc. Sark doesn’t owe us answers. He does owe a better product and he’ll either become less stubborn or he’ll be elsewhere. Press conference musings mean nothing in the the real world no matter the size of balls.

I don’t think we have much of a choice any more, especially if the OL isn’t going to improve which I don’t see them any time soon. ATP we aren’t a championship team, we just gotta call and make plays that build confidence then see what else this team can do

I feel like a lot of people have differing opinions. Klatt said recently that it was close to signed, sealed, and delivered until someone from the Texas side leaked it and it pissed Saban off to the point where he said he’s staying put.
