How are Tech's opponents indirectly affected? If Sayin gambled on games like Sorsby and was allowed to play, I'm pretty sure that directly affects Texas. Or is gambling ok?

That is absolutely untrue. Paxton is doing his job by advocating for a state entity that is directly affected by this scandal. Drummond is advocating for a state entity that is indirectly affected.

Omaha Ticket Recommendations
Blake Munroe replied to NoDakHornsFan's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Solid advice. If Tennessee was in it, I’d say avoid their side ant all costs, but you’re good there. I might head up there next week! -
You should probably drive to Austin.

Softball assistant coaching search?
Blake Munroe replied to Horns Wn's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Coaching search will be tough to get info on. 100% don’t think we will hear anything until a deal is done. Torres and Azua are expected to visit, fwiw. -
@Joe Zura crying himself to sleep tonight due to no visits from OTF staff.

🤘 🤠 🏆 Congratulations to the University of Texas Athletes, Coaches, Administrators, and the entire Staff! Hook'em! 🤘 🤠 🏆

Congrats to the entire athletic department-the players, the coaches, and the administrators and to all the fans and donors who support them all. Because of all involved, Texas has won its 5th Director’s Cup Title in the last six years as the nation’s best college athletic program. Hook’Em!

The funniest part? A&M tying USC in men’s outdoor track is what sealed it for Texas. If USC wins that event, they pass us. Instead, the Aggies accidentally delivered the trophy to Austin. You can’t script it better. Bottom line: Texas isn’t just competitive - Texas is the standard. Football’s rising, basketball’s stabilized, softball just broke through, and the entire athletic department is operating at a level nobody else is matching. Another year, another Cup. Another reminder who runs college athletics.

My expectations couldn’t be higher. And that’s dangerous. They looked fantastic tonight.
