  1. Past hour
  2. I root for losses because it will rip the band-aid off quicker and not drag this out for another 3 years of the same results. well, let’s see, Stein is pretty good! Eric Morris looks pretty good! I would even trust Dan Lanning that he would make a good hire at OC(like he already has) over Sark
  3. The second half of 2025 Arch was a top 5 QB in CFB. He was fast, explosive, and decisive. He took over the the ATM and Michigan games with his pure athleticism, all on a bad foot. What we have with 2026 Arch is at best an average QB. He looks slower, less explosive, and indecisive (see 3 pass attempts beyond line of scrimmage this year). I don't know if it is something physically going on with Arch, or between the ears. Sark, if it is you pulling the reigns back on Arch, telling him to stay in the pocket more, you need to go have a talk with Mack Brown. Ask him how him turning loose VY turned out for him and the team. Now I'm not saying Arch is VY, but Arch is plenty fast enough, athletic enough, and strong enough, to make a difference in game outcomes. You have the proof in the last two games of 2025. To Sark, play to win when you have double digit leads in the 2nd half!!! Stop coaching "not to lose". There is nothing wrong with extending leads, to step on the opponents throat when you have them down. Just a little fact, against conference and legit P4 teams during Sark's tenure, we have been tied or leading at half in 40 games, we were outscored in the 2nd half in 26 of those games.
  4. Exactly. And I’m not even calling for KJ to play, I think that would do more harm than good for KJ personally behind this OLine
  5. Sark said he was told the roughing penalty was for hitting the passer in the head.
  6. My issue with Arch is he doesn’t have a consistent rhythm. He’s a different player when he thinks he’s comfortably ahead (overly cautious), then steps on the gas with varying results when tied late or behind.
  7. If you root for losses that is dumber. So genius who should we hire?
  8. This is true too. On the fourth and two when we miss the field goal, I was wondering why we did not run the ball there and go for it but that’s probably just me wanting to be more aggressive and people would’ve been calling for Starks head for not taking the points if he did go for it on fourth and two and not make it. I’m sorry, but there’s a reason people are sitting in stands versus on the sideline.
  9. It’s dumb to think that Sark is going to take Texas further
  10. I agree and it’s something I can’t wrap my head around. Sark wants a pocket passer but refuses to get a serviceable Oline.
  11. We need an adult in the room. Sark doesn’t hold his coaches accountable which bleeds into the players not being held accountable. He’s to stubborn/ scared to let arch run and refuses to adapt his offense to his players strengths, seems he rather lose his way than win trying something else🤷🏽‍♂️
  12. Arch definitely has to improve. However, when sitting in the stands and people around you are literally calling plays out before they happen the play caller needs to take some accountability. Derrick Cooper was the leading rusher in the game and received 2 carries in the 2nd half. Texas leads the SEC in 3 and outs.
  13. I think yes on the complexity. Or we're just bad at teaching it in practice. But in any case the single biggest problem is the players don't consistently execute the plays. Hard to be physical if you aren't first 100% sure what you are supposed to be doing.
  14. If you were to do a real analysis on an all 22 you would see multiple plays as you describe an opportunities for arch to hit faster plays. It’s there of course sometimes things are covered in defenses are good arch needs to recognize that too and not force a ball into triple coverage or double coverage and throw an interception. you will notice how infrequently arch throws to the tight end go back and look at Quinn and you’ll see that he had a much higher rate at throwing to the tight ends. Same schema, same play, different quarterback
  15. Social media is a cesspool. Whether it’s Twitter or message boards, people posting anonymously get far more courage than they do in person, either with each other or coaches and players. Take a look at some of the posts on this and other Texas boards over the last 15 hours. Folks get way too high when they win and very reactive when their team loses. The problem aggie has is the board, Tex Ags, which is practically embedded into their program. Their own moderator brags about his access and friendships with folks in the building (and even helping JFF wake up for draft workouts). When you become the de facto insider you’re going to get way more scrutiny. That said, Elko needs to stop whining about social media. It’s a sad fact of life in 2026. Turn it off, coach the team and move on.
  16. I would agree with you if Quinn didn’t also regress in this offense. And if arch was allowed to use his legs like he was last year.
  17. user name doesn’t check out…
  18. Bishops touchdown was how it was drawn up, sit in the zone to draw the defener and release. Arch was not scrambling on the play.
  19. Watch him end up at LSU under kiffin next season.
  20. This falls at Sark’s feet. Arch absolutely has blame, but when you have back-to-back 5 stars, you have to look at the system around them.
  21. As they say chicks, dig the deep ball. Apparently, so does Arch. Singles and doubles win games you guys may remember but sark told arch to look for Emmett Mosley during the Ohio State on the crossing route. I bet if it were not for Sark mentioning that in the headphones at the last minute arch would not have made that read.
  22. The play calling at times is terrible and the play book has changed drastically over the last couple of years. Not utilizing the RB 's in the screen game has all but disappeared and not targeting TE 's as well. Arch not seeing the blitz coming is baffling and Sark not adjusting to the constant blitz fronts is a CRIME! I also know that the constant 3 and outs make it difficult for an offense to find its rhythm but at some point some adjustments have to be made and that falls on Sark. " The year before the year " might turn into just another year. Sadly. 🤘🤘
  23. Sark is proving that he is more of QB killer than a QB whisperer, also doesn’t help that our OL has never been able to pick up a blitz
