I’m not sure there’s a biggest reason. Ohio State. We missed opportunities. We had several critical penalties. Lost patience in our play call and throw after one resulting in an interception. UF. Problems everywhere. Offense, defense, special teams. Penalties that were parlayed into turnovers. UGa. Dropped balls. Huge special teams play. Big penalty that played a big part in falling apart. If you believe he played a part in any loss, he is a reason. Even if, he was the best player in every win.

Going to be hard to keep Kiffin at bay. He's a great offensive minded guy, similar to Coach Sark.

Staley will rotates more players, essentially they will all get good playing time, but not crazy exhausting minutes like how Vic rotates. They will be fresh all season and even late because they won’t need to use up their legs. She can also ride the hot players and not leave in players who are clearly off.

Its a laundry list of reasons we missed the playoffs. Archs terrible start to the season is one of them but not the biggest reason or even close

I agree with Gerry that high school recruiting is still the lifeblood of consistent college football programs, but just can't take silly recruiting drama seriously.

This is going to be like watching a close basketball game. You only need to watch the final minute. He's going to bounce back and forth between Baton Rouge and Austin...........he just is. So you’re saying Arch was indeed partly responsible for not making the playoffs? I agree, but that’s not really the narrative on the boards I read. This years team has more margin for error than last. The focus is largely on the portal, but it’s also because guys like Arch, Wingo, Goosby, Baker and Simmons are more mature and should cut down on the misses.

Based on Schloss's comments about Cozart last week, I'm guessing he's still trying to stretch Cozart to get him ready for postseason, and he also thinks he can use him twice in a weekend regardless.

This is true, but there are just outright bad evaluations of talent. Taking the likes of Golday and Trotter before Hill is crazy. Drafting Boerkhicher at 56 overall is pure malpractice. Those guys could have easily been drafted in third and fourth round.
