  1. Past hour
  2. I don't know what to say. CJ Vogel has been on this from the very beginning. Brooks Austin has been all over it....and on it for a awhile as well: the footwork, the mechanics, the processing, the speed of play, the decision making. Now, Max Browne adds to it. But, for this site, I give CJ all the credit and Gerry walked into his camp yesterday saying: start Lacey vs Ole Miss. What's crazy is: Sark is watching the same film as everyone else but is giving Arch a ton of rope here to continue to play him. I ask this now: If you don't start Lacey, what is it going to take to convince you to sit Arch? The answer will be: We are losing 21-3. GEEZE! My biggest problem is with those who look at the scoreboard versus those who watch the field of play. There are those that say: The OLine is the problem, the RBs and the TEs need to step up and block - then they cherry pick 2 plays in the game to prove their point without holding Arch to the same standard. I think after CJ, Brooks and now Max the breakdowns have begun to get some traction. Arch is at best and average QB - at best. I don't care about the flashes, I desire consistency. Max even uses the word "lucky" for some those flashes. Then, those that love Arch or who are slow to come around talk about his record - again joining the crowd of the scoreboard watchers. Arch fails the test of fundamental QB play. I'm willing to bet you that if you called up every Coach of a Team in The Top 20, they would be reluctant to take Arch through the Portal. Not gonna happen and that tells you all you need to know. It is time to move on. Arch has done a lot for the Program. I like Arch as a kid, but as a QB for The Univ of Texas, I'm not a Fan and haven't been for awhile. Finally, that tent has begun to grow. Hey, if my wife who is from Louisiana and a fan of The Mannings can say Arch does not have it for the standard of The Univ of Texas and that he needs to move on - if she can see it long before any action has taken place then seriously, Sark, put The Team first and Lets Go! CJ is The Best! Hook'em!!!
  3. The coaches didn’t forget how to coach. Something is, hopefully not permanently, disconnected in Arch’s head.
  4. Too many coaches in the QB room.
  5. Not disagreeing with you I’m just trying to figure out what killed his confidence, I’m at the point of blaming HR lol
  6. Arch foot work was already bad Before HR crap.
  7. Which is probably why Sark is sticking with him for now. If Arch continues to fail against unranked teams or repeat the same mistakes he needs to be benched.
  8. It will be coaching if Arch can’t get it right and doesn’t get benched. It will all come down on Sark in the end. But the root problem is all Arch’s.
  9. Man I hope 1,000% I am wrong, but Sark’s success has been under Saban and Pete Carroll that had WAY better rosters than everyone else AND they ran everything from the top. Saban made every decision while he was at Bama or he blessed off on every single thing. Sark wasn’t a head coach long enough for us to know how he would be with the top job. We do know he’s a good recruiter. But we don’t know how he is as a manager or a player caller when stuff’s not working and you have to adjust. I think I know how this ends but dang I’m tired of getting coaches that can’t take us to the top. He’s made us better but I mean make us like a Georgia or a Saban Alabama. They ought to money whip Saban to come in and be General Manager/Assistant to the Head Coach or some title and let him run it. He doesn’t want to stay on College Game Day forever. We are paying so much money now…….Go big or go home.
  10. Some people won't like this but I would entertain hiring the best high school football coach in Texas if not America. Scott Surratt. The dude has lost 8 playoff games and won state 11 times.
  11. Could be true but ever since then our QB has looked like a deer in headlights, same way he looked for the first couple of weeks last year. Shook tf up and can’t get out of his own head
  12. My bad, how has he fallen so far?
  13. He’s a micromanager and former QB. He wants his QBs to basically just be him. It’s not “here is what I see now trust my instincts and go play football” it is “here is what I see now what would Sark want me to do here?”.
  14. Ham, Deep pan crust here
  15. That's what I said. Whoever made the decision to leak this to Pete Thamel is a fool. It's like dropping a nuclear bomb for Arch hysteria in the media. They could have just kept it quiet, said everyone is being evaluated on film and in practice and then made their decision before the game at the report deadline. Arch clearly has his confidence as a player damaged. He didn't need an entire week of extra scrutiny. We're gonna hear "we want KJ" chants in DKR if they trot Arch out there and he continues to play like we've seen all season.
  16. Has Sark ever developed a quarterback for the next level? He attracts the top high school quarterbacks but they never seem to take the next step. Is the issue a matter of player evaluation or player development at the college level. Is the Texas issue player evaluation or player development. I can think of many players in the past who didn’t develop. Intrinsic character or big fish small pond leveling.
  17. If you measure by wins Arch still has way more than any other QB out there right now and big ones against top 10 teams.
  18. Pepperoni? Stuffed crust?
  19. I saw it late last night good stuff. Still think this is more on Sark and his coaching. Arch was making these reads and throws when he came here. Why then has he regressed to the point where he looks like a high schooler playing out there?
  20. The Holly Rowe incident has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with play on the field.
  21. I think he'll be fine. 😝🤣 We know Sark ain't starting KJ Him after the game...
  22. Will Texas have any Televised scrimmage games before the season starts?
  23. All of those coaches came with him from Bama. All need to go after this season.
