  1. Past hour
  2. We also had the #1 class in 25’ with Pack, Cozart, etc. so it definitely matters. MLB is going to be a mess next year and with the new proposed rules a lot more high end talent will be making it to campus.. NIL has also changed the game and the future looks bright for us 🀘🏻
  3. Ahhh, a thread with a bunch of weather guessers...(sorry, had to. Lol! Look, I'm stuck in oklahoma so I lose no matter what. Lol!)
  4. Zach is a good guy . Leach loved him . Terrible HC . Very good DC . He was thrown into the fire without any HC experience. Mississippi St isn’t a give me . But we should beat them by two touchdowns. Gonna watch my great nephew tonight who plays for Picayune Memorial. 300lb sophomore. 16” shoe stronger than a bull . 6’3” He’s a Hoss . Remember his name . Colston Head . He’s a Hoss at OT . He loves Texas Longhorns.
  5. At least the Hatefull 8 was a good movie
  6. Was bored and was curious how Texas would have been seeded if the 24 team playoff had existed since inception of BCS. With BCS only doing a top 15 from 1998-2002 I went all the way back to 2003. Here are the following years and seeds Texas made an appearance: 2025: #13 vs #20 Tulane (Winner plays #4 Texas Tech) 2024: #3 (Following current CFP Rules) vs Winner of #14 Ole Miss/#19 Missouri 2023: #3 vs Winner of #14 Arizona/#19 Oklahoma State 2022: #20 vs #13 Florida State (Winner plays #4 Ohio State) 2020: #20 vs #13 USC (Winner plays #4 Notre Dame) 2018: #15 vs #18 Mississippi State (Winner plays #2 Clemson) 2012: #23 vs #10 South Carolina (Winner plays #7 Georgia) 2011: #24 vs #9 South Carolina (Winner plays #8 Kansas State) 2009: #2 vs Winner of #15 Miami (FL)/#18 Oregon State 2008: #3 vs Winner of #14 Georgia Tech/#19 Virginia Tech 2007: #19 vs #14 Boston College (Winner plays #3 Virginia Tech) 2006: #19 vs #14 Wake Forest (Winner plays #3 Michigan) 2005: #2 vs Winner of #15 Texas Tech/#18 Wisconsin 2004: #4 vs Winner of #13 Michigan/#20 Texas A&M 2003: #6 vs Winner of #11 Miami (OH)/#22 Utah

  7. Today
  8. Doesn’t matter until who shows up campus.
  9. Weather channel showing 80 with 15% chance of rain.
  10. Best recruiting job on campus.
  11. My Radar app says less than a 50% chance early and virtually none late. Looks like a wonderful evening. 🀘
  12. I hope you are right. Rained like hell in San Antonio
  13. Interested to see how Andre Cojoe does vs. MSU Des Amaree Williams and Will Whitson. They start opposite of each other and lead MSU in pressures. Williams has a chance to be a day 2 pick in a few years and has some intriguing traits. They use him in stunts and move him around a fair amount as well. He reclassified and skipped his senior year and played TE/DE as a freshman at Florida State before playing more DE as a sophomore. He transferred to MSU ahead of this season and is a full-time DE for the Bulldogs
  14. Watched local Austin weather earlier today and said rain will be out of Austin well before kickoff.
  15. The rain is supposed to stop hours before kickoff.
  16. We DNRGAS - we're going to DKR anyway. Hook 'Em!!
  17. Per Perfect Game Texas has the #1 recruiting class for 27’ and 28’.. The new coaches and Schloss are doing a hell of a job🀘🏻
  18. The OL has to be able to adjust to stunts and blitzes. Opposing DC's have stunted or blitzed on 57% on Texas' offensive snaps.
  19. My app says 21% chance of rain. πŸ˜‚ Gotta love Texas weather.
  20. High - 72 Low - 66 70% chance of rain. Hopefully it will be gone by kickoff.
  21. They shouldn't. They're not in a position to overlook anybody.
  22. Two other matchups I wanted to mention: 1. Anthony Evans III will line up all over the field for Mississippi State, but about 88 percent of his snaps this season have come from the slot. This will be a tremendous opportunity for Graceson Littleton to show what he can do if you try him. Evans, who leads the SEC in receptions (53), is No. 3 in the conference in receiving yards (647) and is tied for fifth in touchdown receptions (five), will make his share of plays. It'll be up to Littleton (for the most part) to limit him. 2. It'll be another big week (every week usually is in the SEC) for the interior of the Texas offensive line. Jaray Bledsoe, who leads the Bulldogs in sacks (2.5) and tackles for loss (5.5), lines up almost exclusively in the A-gap (94 snaps) or B-gap (163 snaps). Connor Robertson, Dylan Sikorski and Brandon Baker need to do their part to make sure Bledsoe's return trip to DKR isn't one he'll want to remember.
