  1. Past hour
  2. I've noticed this. Sark's scripts look great and to Rod B's point, he doesn't seem to adjust very well. So it kind of explains why the team looks great to start a game and then in between they look completely lost. Like he's just throwing play calls out there. As for Arch, I thought he'd maybe go the LSU route, team up with Kiffin. He's a lot of things but he can develop QB's and has a QB friendly offense.
  3. OL comes back to scheme and ultimately Sark. Everything wrong circles back to Sark. It's that simple really. Arch's regression from 2024 to 2026 is crazy. How he has kept the same offensive coaches outside of RB for several years now and still the same results. But good thing we got rid of PK so he can focus on the O now....
  4. Just last year he would've easily pulled this and ran for the TD. This year apparently he can't do a basic RPO. I really do wonder what Sark is saying to him before each play or doing with him in practice. Because none of this makes sense to me. He looked different in 2024 compared to 2025 and now he looks worse in 2026 than he did in 2025.
  5. Kyle Flood must have some serious dirt on the higher-ups.
  6. Today
  7. I don’t think this is accurate. Sark seems to always be on simmer. He’s intelligent so he knows how to channel. Yelling isn’t intensity and sark absolutely doesn’t lack intensity. It’s unlikely arch is in his head this badly if sark were a mellow, laid back coach. I think missing last summer impacted the culture much more than we realized. I think sark is confounded right now by arch’s play. No one saw this regression happening. I’m in the minority but his head got belted badly twice earlier this year after the physical beat down year. Something is off with him. his play change after the helmet to helmet against utsa. I hope it’s the yips and not something physical for him. I’d sit him this week to so that he can observe the game.
  8. I love the time Augie asked the team if they had ever been in a fight? Man he went off that time to. I met him once and we sat down and talked about growing up in California. He grew up in a tough part of Stockton.
  9. Vince Lombardi once had is O-line with rapt attention for 6 hours while he described and explained the same freaking play! 😆
  10. He would say, "A'ight, listen. It's time to make a quarterback change. Miss Terry thinks you are too stubborn man A'ight. Now just makes the decision and hell with it. A'ight."
  11. Do we have a sports psychologist on staff? Arch is lacking confidence and appears depressed. He needs his mojo back. I wonder if the Holly Rowe thing messed up his mind. He hasn't been the same since that bruhaha.
  12. The biggest head coaching malpractice is Sark allowing an Oline coach to think Cole Hutson was a good enough center last spring to start last season. That was a disaster. Outside of some of the OSU game, at no point last year with Hutson at center were we any good. So to avoid calamity, we swapped our backup center (Robertson) to salvage what we could from the second half of the season as a band aid. I have to question a coach that would even think that was even close to the level we needed to be a contender. That's the first fireable offense in my opinion since we wasted a great defense last year too because of that lapse in judgement. The second offense is thinking this backup caliber center was good enough to run it back again this year and go against a full season of SEC DTs. Surely a good coach would have spent the money and gotten a top tier center knowing we barely got out of last year without disaster with a backup level center. I don't know what Flood expects from Robertson who is a bit undersized and not strong enough. He's done an admirable job but everyone could have told you that he would get ragdolled as a starter the whole season. Where is the "standard" Sark talks about all the time? The "standard" surely isn't having a backup caliber center as your starting center and just getting by right? And the funny thing on top of that is we still run mostly inside zone even with Robertson getting pushed back 2-3 yards on many plays.
  13. proof is in the puddin. O line is ass
  14. He didn't develop Sykorski. I didn't include any people we grabbed out of the portal that was developed elsewhere for the most part.
  15. Drew Mehringer mentioned
  16. Rumors of Oregon WRs getting arrested for dui and racing after the Nebraska game.
  17. Even though we lost, it was the best we've looked in a several games. The young players are getting more experience and starting to improve some. Florida is a tough team and if a couple points go different we would have beaten them. Biggest thing is Andersen needs to work on her passing. Teams are targeting her on serves, but Gugina and Andersen are starting to get more comfortable hitting. Spears is still just a cannon. She's still needs to improve her ability to hit off hands and hit a cut. She pretty much just hits straight and hard which doesn't work against the good blocking teams.
  18. I don't think Mike McDaniel will be employed for much longer for the Chargers. I wouldn't mind him calling plays for us and he's from the same tree as Sark so he might be down for McDaniel taking over playcalling and being off coordinator.
  19. Does the QB help with protection calls? Can a change at QB improve the oline?
  20. I’ve noticed our line can’t deal with a delayed blitz. I see teams holding off for a second while our plodding big humans try to pull and then shooting the gap created. Kills us every single time.
  21. Jeff he needs to be benched like ewers. That’s it he played great second half of last year he’s on Garrett Gilbert level bullshit with the most talented roster in cfb and I’ll add this if his name wasn’t manning and the price they paid for him. Lacey would start. Either sark pulls hurts and go with tua. Or sark does nothing Saban won a natty and pulled hurts. We will have our answer soon.
  22. Refs once again screw up clock management and end the game with 1 second on the clock. Opposite of the Michigan game, the game ends before the clock officially hits zero. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7700125/2026/10/18/byu-notre-dame-final-play-clock-1-second/
  23. We might get run out of the stadium Saturday night against Ole Miss. I don't expect that to happen, against my better judgment I am thinking our guys will somehow find a way to make this competitive and maybe even win. Maybe they have some pride. But, a 45-10 drubbing is definitely possible. I don't know the ins and outs but I think Sark's buyout is $36mil. Not impossible. Glad to see you here @MBHORNSFAN, I came over from OB then IT. The question after that is who do you F'n hire? Chesney? Stein? Traylor? I've always liked Matt Ruhle but the fact we are even having this discussion is simply mind blowing.
  24. Manning has been around the best his whole life. He’s been taught essentially since he was five. Freezing on a blitz, not throwing it away, not seeing the field. Those are all things Manning has already been shown his whole life. Not worried at all about how he would thrive somewhere else. Those are fundamentals the family has burned into his head. The switch will not suddenly flip with a new OC.
