I hope the continue to invest in Midteer QBs OL and skill players

Yup

Pretty crazy that Wake Forest (3) shows up more than Blue Bloods like Miami (2), Texas (2), Florida State (1) and tied with UGA (3) and Notre Dame (3). granted, these were like the only 3 years that Wake Forest were good, but let’s ignore the cherry picking!

100%

And this is why we should be careful what we wish for

Wait until we finish 7-5. Then you will see at least half of it.

If OU nails their next OC hire, beats Texas again and makes a deep CFP run next season while Sark runs it back with the same offensive staff and the results are the same, I don’t think that will go over well with the big wigs at UT.

I don't see it

I have a feeling that will change for sure in the next month or two. That and Sark terminating Sark.

But some how Kyle Flood still has his job.. 🙄🙄

A better OL opens up the running game A better running game opens up the passing game. A better running game / passing game makes for a better QB....no matter the name on the back of the jersey....Manning, Simms, Applewhite, Brown, etc

First step is always fire the coordinators. Next step is fire the HC

SAY IT ISN’T SO!!! Hoping they’d keep him another 5 years

They gave up 550 yards. Could have won with a a good defensive effort.

They didn't fire him. They parted ways.

Is Collin Simmons going to play this week? We will need him versus LSU and aggie for sure.

South Carolina really got BV’s last two OC hires Seth Littrell and Ben Arbuckle axed. That’s wild.

Great post CJ, and thanks for continuing to track these numbers. This is exactly why I think the offensive struggles go well beyond Arch. When you're leading the SEC in three-and-outs, it points to a much bigger problem with the offense as a whole. We can't consistently run the football, win the battles up front, or stay ahead of the chains. Arch certainly has things to improve, but it's unfair to put the entire burden on him when these issues have been present for multiple years. The lack of physicality and inability to sustain drives are what concern me most. At some point, we have to address the bigger problem rather than just blame the QB. Appreciate you bringing these numbers and context to the discussion.

I wonder if they also make a change at QB?

That loss will haunt me forever

Arbuckle, who came over first from Wazzu as part of the Arbuckle-Mateer package, lasted only 21 games in Norman and now leaves his post 8 games into year 2. The Sooners went 14-7 during Arbuckle's time in Norman

I disagree I think he absolutely is and many lesser QBs have done it b

😯

Come on now, cesspool comment would have said venables is better than sark ( I am not saying that, nor do I believe it to be true) but he did make the playoffs last year, beat us head to head this year with a less talented roster, and the side of the ball he coaches is the strength of his team unlike sarks.
