Kicking his ass individually does little for our team objective. I interpreted it as Texas kicking OUs to include him. There should be no specific objective to hit him harder, more often, whatever than any other Sooner. And if the opportunity presents to waylay any Sooner, at any time, we need to take advantage of it.

I hope we kick OU’s ass as well. I haven’t seen the presser but I’d imagine he didn’t mean him personally. If he did, then I still disagree, and sark is speaking out of both sides of his mouth. He openly admitted he was let go to bring in better talent.

What does that say about Sark's comment in the presser that he hopes Texas "kicks his ass" when they play on October 10th?

I think that comparison is apples and oranges. Coleman was the number 1 transfer and had a bidding war for him. Livingstone was let go to make way for that bidding war. I just think we lose sight that this is a 20 year old kid. People wishing him to be laid out because he posted himself in his new jersey is pathetic. And if he is truly unhappy then that’s for him to deal with. We improved our roster, the coaches moved on from him, so we should too.

The thing is, our guys that were year last year will know exactly how to get under his skin cause working against him already in practices. He might do well for them. I liked the guy until he dipped to OU. Our defense will make sure he doesn’t have good games against us for sure.

This kind of reminds me of the sand aggy softball players. Look, if you're happy with where you've ended up, good for you. But I'm a firm believer in, if you're truly happy where you're at, you're not thinking about where you left, you're thinking about the future. Otherwise, you wouldn't feel the need to justify yourself. You don't see Cam Coleman posting stuff about Auburn should have paid him, or any of the other players who just transferred to Texas. At least not that I've seen.

In the portal era, going 0-2 on incoming high school recruits doesn’t sting as much as it used to. Guys flip and transfer every year, just part of the game now

It’s difficult enough living where he does to turn down the home folk once, much less a second time in a set announcement. I understand there have been others that just announced they are staying committed but this is New Orleans.

Unless they fall off a cliff, softball should definitely be in contention for the post season and a legit chance at the championship. Of all the teams on campus, the probably would have the best odds (outside of Men's Swimming & Diving and Rowing) to play for the ship.
