  1. Past hour
  2. Need an age limit. 25 years at most!
  3. No issues with this. Good luck to the young man.
  4. Why would the NCAA delay the opening of the portal when 90% plus of teams seasons are finished ? Just 16 teams still playing.
  5. My hot take is that it is the NCAA’s attempt to smuggle in a pseudo “competitive balance” mechanism that other professional sports have. NCAA thought process being if we have the portal window at the time that would be most difficult for top programs to recruit the portal it makes it easier for lesser programs to get better.
  6. He doesn’t spend on softball, it’s another guy
  7. A lot of high level baseball players could have played big time football. Joe Mauer and Adam Dunn come to mind. Drew Henson was battling Tom Brady at Michigan and then signed with the Yankees. Don’t recall a big time success going to college football in a while though. Has there been once since quan? ahh yes weeden in the above post. Forgot about old man weeden
  8. I have no problem with this sort of return to college. Now, if he were to try to play baseball for SMU, that's another story.
  9. Brandon Weeden, Drew Henson. We haven’t seen much of this lately so maybe that’s why it feels less familiar.
  10. El Jefe, is Hill hitting the portal a big loss for us,
  11. Can you imagine being in an NFL locker room and having to answer to those dudes?!?!
  12. Not sure why people are acting like this is a new thing. Completely different than the other situations we have seen over the last 3-4 years
  13. Beating that "5 to play 5" deadline with its age limit is my guess. College NIL beats getting a 9-5 job.
  14. Cause no one, I mean NO ONE, does a better job with QB evaluations than your Cleveland Browns. Amirite? (Do you think the Browns would pass on Sorsby if they could get him in the 4th round or later? Kalshi says 83% chance they'd take that gamble if the cost is low enough)
  15. There hasn’t been much money left for Tadlock.
  16. This used to be a case or two of this more frequently. Chris Weinke, Quan Cosby, Mark Farris and Austin Aune are guys who’ve gone from professional baseball back to college to play football. Since they went straight to pro baseball, their eligibility clock never started. And since they weren’t paid to play football, the NCAA still considers them an amateur.
  17. Son of the sausage king if Chicago oh, never mind…that is Abe Froman
  18. Pretty wild story here.
  19. If only Tech made a little bit of effort in developing their high school recruits they would have a decent backup to take the QB role.
  20. Today
  21. Blew his wad on softball; would be glorious for Texas to win it again.
  22. Crazy story. former 5 star wr
  23. Yep. Absolutely pitiful
  24. So there are doubts he would ever be eligible to play in the NFL, but Tech is fighting to keep him. When the NFL may have more integrity than you, it is time to give up
  25. Catcher from Clemson. I feel like he’s one to get after
