  1. Past hour
  2. We’re 80 days away from Texas football and No. 80 has a deep group. Alex Okafor and Tim Crowder brought elite pass-rush production, Bo Scaife and Lovell Pinkney were productive targets, while Bill Zapalac and Dwight Jefferson represent earlier championship eras. Who would you pick as the best Longhorn to wear No. 80?
  3. The approach was terrible. They basically had the same approach as GM 1 vs Georgia and Wes Johnson took Schloss/Tulo to the woodshed again.
  4. Fun season overall. Had some frustrating moments along the way. Really wish we didn’t crap the bed hitting last night it was unfortunate because Harrison and Cozart absolutely dealt. @Jeff Howe just curious your opinion on Tulo? Do you like him to stay on the staff or would you potentially make a switch at hitting coach?
  5. Disappointing ending to the season, but I really like what Schloss is doing and the trajectory of the program. I thought I remember Schloss saying he might be a year away on the roster construction, so to get to the World Series was good. I guarantee today him and the staff are digging in today on the portal to see what upgrades they can find. We’re going to get back to what we know Texas baseball should be. Proud of our kids fighting. They gave all they had……it just wasn’t enough to get over the hump. Good times ahead for Texas baseball.
  6. I'm sure most Longhorn fans really appreciate Tinney. He's a All-American who loved playing for Texas. We wouldn't have been in the CWS without him. I'll be rooting for him throughout his MLB career.
  7. Today
  8. Texas landed Torres. So obviously now with three people in the class we’ll see if Texas even wants to add more. They’re in great position already now. Only hole is maybe a corner outfielder?
  9. Georgia’s pitching staff finished the regular season with about a 5 era. They won with hitting during the year.
  10. they were good in those 2 games yes. otherwise middling for the year
  11. I'm always curious about what the TAX burden is on the financial offer from Northwestern (State of Illinois, City of Chicago and Federal combined) compared to the smaller financial offer from the University of Texas (No state income tax and total Federal tax burden). Surely the player's agent works up the tax figures for presentation to the player. I guess Texas wasn't his "Dream School" after all. Hook 'Em!
  12. I thought Tech had a deal with Bud Light...
  13. They could offer her the same money and Nike and others can pay her whatever they want. This is a truly elite, proven player at a premium position and this team just got way better. Mike White is not playing around.
  14. The guy who hit .325 with 22 bombs shouldn’t have been playing? Yeah, you were certainly the only person saying that.
