  1. Past hour
  2. Volantis bounces back from a two-out walk, getting Ward to ground out to third to end the inning.
  3. Mississippi State is up 11-2 on Texas A&M in the top of the third in College Station.
  4. I watched it. I actually like the show, but it is what it is. He just loses credibility when it shifts from basketball. The mouth of the south seems to be on a let’s put down Texas on everything, because he said they would win it all, and Arch would win the heisman. Paul will switch back at some point. You want quality? Watch inside the NBA. You don’t even have to like sports to like that show. Steven’s reasoning didn’t make sense. He said that Texas had not met expectations last year. He failed to mention the back to back CFP showings and that Texas actually did win ten games last year. In a lot of people’s eyes they did meet expectations. Something he would absolutely acknowledge if Sark was coming on the show. He totally missed the actual point, and that was what do you make of the comments coming from SEC coaches? He felt Sark couldn’t say anything because of last year. He glossed over what Kiffin said with regards to race. It is something that has been said about Mississippi for decades. And it was something Steven agreed with, until Ole Miss invited him to visit last year. Now he has completely switched.
  5. Seven strikeouts for Volantis through 2.2 innings.
  6. Yesterday
  7. Along with the penalties, the other areas of discipline were as bad maybe worse than the penalties. Missed blocks, wrong routes run, misreads by the qb, dirted balls, missed assignments for lineman on both sides of the ball, dropped balls, wrong gap for rbs to hit, blown coverage, wrong defenses called (coaching), etc. Point I am making is penalties were bad but really just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to discipline. Texas left a ton on the field last year. Good news is they are supremely talented and if they clean up 50% of the discipline issues as a whole they will be a Championship caliber team. The real question is who are the leaders on this team going to be and are they going to demand the all in they will need.
  8. Just listened. Stephen A said it was a low blow that Sarkisian said that the academics at Ole Miss made it easier to recruit because all you have to do is take basket weaving to graduate where as at Texas you lose half your hours so that portal guys can’t get their degree like they can at Ole Miss. it wasn’t a low blow it was absolutely true. Stephen A is a dumbass that couldn’t get into Texas.
  9. The Longhorns go down in order in the bottom of the first.
  10. Volantis struck out the side after allowing the home run. FWIW, that’s the third game in a row Texas has allowed a first-inning home run.
  11. A leadoff solo home run has Missouri up in the top of the first, 1-0
  12. officiating in that vandy game at the end was crazy. If only I had had a water bottle . . . just kidding.
  13. Same, but I have a feeling that won’t be necessary if the running game looks like it did in 2023 before Jonathon Brooks got hurt. If he has similar numbers to CJ Stroud in 2022, Justin Fields in 2019, or Fernando Mendoza in 2025, Manning will end up first on this list by a landslide.
  14. Correct. If he had played all 16 games in 2023 and 2024, he would most likely be 1st and 2nd on this list.
  15. I'm greedy and want joe burrow level numbers.
  16. Quinn on this list twice - injured both seasons, right?
  17. The only reason Vandy was able to come back was that they refused to call holding penalties when the OTs would tackle Simmons in the second half. I felt like I was watching us play Okie State.
  18. Maybe not “one of my favorite” lol. But one I’m very excited to watch.
