  1. Past hour
  2. It’s not THAT we lost it’s in the how we lost. That score was not indicative of the game. Talent is one thing but we’re flat out, undeniably, unprepared for the game.
  3. Let’s be honest, making the playoff last year doesn’t excuse disappearing against top-tier programs in Year 5. Down 14-0 with 4 minutes left vs Ohio State, and Texas only scores because the opponent goes into prevent? That’s not competitive, that’s failing when it matters. Yes, the OL and DL have issues, and Arch is a third year QB, not “young” at all. With NIL advantages, portal access, and top-ranked recruiting classes, there are no excuses for rolling food out on the offensive line or racking up penalties. “Playing in the Horseshoe and the Swamp” doesn’t justify looking unprepared and undisciplined. This isn’t about throwing in the towel, it’s about holding the program accountable. Right now, Sark’s program is trending in the wrong direction, and the responsibility falls squarely on the head coach. The only two Power 5 opponents Texas has played this year? Totally unprepared, manhandled, and one of those was a 1-3 Florida team coached by Billy Napier with a QB on one leg. That’s on Sark.
  4. This guy was the biggest Arch and Texas glazer in general preseason. Not that he’s wrong about the OL.
  5. Flood has been a bust.
  6. I think Flood and Scott have been very underwhelming this year. Now, I say that knowing injuries at the RB position have hindered us a bit but it doesn’t seem like our RBs have any vision right now. I saw multiple times in yesterdays game where they could have taken the edge and they just cut back into the line and get 1 or no yard. I also think it’s time to have a competition for the IOL and RT position this week. Stroh stinks, Hutson and Baker aren’t cutting it, and Campbell is just flat out not good.
  7. Lots and lots of common taters this morning reveling in Texas issues. OU will be perfect to see what these guys mentally are made of.
  8. When you make the playoff 2 years in a row (losing to the champ in the semi only months ago) it's kinda hard for the trajectory to go up from there, by that standard everyone is a failure except OSU. Define competitive for me please because I'm pretty sure yesterday went down to the wire. We're all frustrated by yesterday. The OL and DL will get fixed, Arch is learning and young-he's going to make more mistakes. In hindsight I think its unrealistic for any of us to have those expectations when you play in the HORSE SHOE and the SWAMP in the same year. How insane is it that we're ready to throw in the towel when those are the 2 loses? Get off the train if you want but this is a very young team who CAN COMPETE with anyone in the country.
  9. Sark’s offense completely disappears against good Power 5 competition. Down 14-0 with 4 minutes left vs Ohio State, and Texas only scores because the opponent goes into prevent. Sark is 0-4 in his last four SEC/Big Ten games.
  10. Becton isn’t the issue. It’s recruiting misevaluations.
  11. what great insight...who the hell is Brooks Austin and why do I care what he/she thinks? Don't need Kirk Hirby to tell me both sides of the LOS sucked, we all saw it.
  12. Well the 2023 class was a massive bust. Goosby has regressed and nobody else has played. Is anybody in the 2024 class pushing for reps in their second year other than Baker? Misevaluations everywhere on this team.
  13. I had to unfollow him. Seemed nice enough at first, but he was spending all yesterday on twitter calling Arch a bum and overrated. Arch is the only reason the score wasn't 29-0.
  14. Hopes and wishes that’ll never prolly happen. Sark seems way too loyal to flood and maybe to a fault.
  15. 33 for UF was whipping anybody in front of him
  16. Nick Brooks should never play guard in my opinion. He is too tall to deal with the lateral speed of interior defenders coming up out of his stance. Brooks should solely be developed at tackle. Any thoughts on Brooks at guard?
  17. I don’t think he even needed to break down tape to come to this conclusion.
  18. Where is the toughness and nastiness of this O-line and who is the leader? I expected Campbell to be more of an enforcer on the line or at least a leader. I just have not seen that and maybe it happens in practice, but it clearly isn't transferring to game day. I remember watching Banks be that guy when he was on the 40. Yesterday reminded me of a Herb Hand lead o-line. Where is the leadership for this team?
  19. I don’t know of a lot of multi millionaire 64 year olds looking for the CFB grind, and that’s before you try to figure out staff dynamics etc.
  20. Today
  21. Pittman is a great OL architect. I’d be shocked if it ever happened, however.
  22. Agree completely. The offensive line is very bad right now.
  23. Reminded me of the “hero ball” Sam had to play a bunch of when the o line was down. Sark did dial up some sure fire TDs that just were not executed. Defense, whew…just a bunch of ugly to take in. Settle down and get your best 11 up I guess. I’m no expert lol
  24. Tossing my hat in the ring for the free sub ... who was closer? Edit: I think Bobbers was closer for sure ...
  25. Hopefully Chris Jackson agrees with you...
