@hookem1014thanks for posting. Damn Sark gets “it”

I’m sorry to say that I was at that one too! In that case I was disappointed about what should have been, but not bitterly angry.

Damn straight, 817. Best feeling in the world.

I do see the offensive benefit, IF she's willing to accept a diminished role. IMO, the offense should not be built around her but as a complimentary "pick your poison". I see if being more of a benefit in the second half when teams are tired and she can just play bully ball. On the defensive side, the rotations have to be on point because the quicker teams will abuse the pick and role with her until they are blue in the face. -
Thanks for posting this!!! I just watched it here for the first time since the day of the game and the last one of the 500 or so times I viewed it later... What did I notice just now?! I saw that clean, wide- open pocket provided by the O-Line. Quinn always performed well when he was given protection and time to throw. That was excellent. Hook 'Em!

I get where you’re coming from, and you’re right that Vic’s system is built on defense and mobility. I just think Crooks could still bring something Texas hasn’t had in a while ---a steady interior scorer who can settle the offense when transition isn’t there. With the length and athleticism Texas already has around her, she wouldn’t need to switch everything. She’d just need to rebound, wall up, and finish, which she can do. She actually adds a different dimension that could make Texas tougher to guard. Just another way to look at it. -

He will not coach a position for Texas but I believe he spent time as a LB and/or secondary coach back in the day. -
Thanks so much for posting. I'm a UT Alum X2, a Longhorns fan since childhood and a Texas season ticket holder until I retired. I was sitting in the Cotton Bowl Stadium at the Texas -OU game when Marquise caught a touchdown pass as a Freshman and I remember thinking what a talented young man he was because he just made an outstanding play -- especially for a Freshman player. As I have gotten older in the past few years, I have been a caregiver for my late mother and my late brother. It is difficult and rewarding, but you don't talk about the difficult part -- because the rewarding part pays its own dividends. I didn't know this about Marquise, but I agree with 817 Boxing B and the comments by others. The man has a huge wonderful heart to go along with his football skills and World class speed. Wow. Just Wow. Hook 'Em!

In a way, great coaches can inspire and motivate players. But looking in another way, if a player at this level needs a coach to motivate them they have a problem. -

Reminds me of real free speech. Remember driving through Denver 28 June 2000 at 7:00 AM and listening to Slim Shady and Country Grammar back to back on the radio on the the way to honeymoon in Pinedale, Wyoming. It was dirty version both ways on the radio. Wife liked Eminem. I liked Nelly more. -

What are the details on them as possible replacements? Also hoping there's a chance Jordan Lee returns. I'm not a fan of Audi Crooks and just have a feeling that Texas being thrown in there is just for her camp to up the price for the teams that really do want her. I don't see how she would fit into the Texas system that Vic runs - defense first, easy buckets in transition, in the set offense, it's a version of the triangle at the top of the key until they get a mis match or get the look they want to attack. -
Goodwin truly is a remarkable human being. Will never forget the moment when he scored that touchdown the same day he lost his baby boy. Thanks for sharing 🤘
